I visited Belarus this sommer and recommend it to everybody. Minsk, Grodno and Brest are enchanting cities. They are modern just like every other European city-there is no traveling back in time, like many of you would expect. But traveler surely appreciate some unique features- Belarus is very organised, there is a sense of public order- police officers patrolling on every enter to metro. If you are caring baggage with you, you have to let them X-ray control it, like at an airport. There is no litter in the streets, flowers are everywhere, people are sweeping street in front of their houses, their shops to keep it nice. There are no neglected facades and visual smog like I am used to from my country. People seem enjoy spending their free time in parks, cafes, festival, the downtown was always full of them. I like it, but I still noticed that you can somehow breath more free in noisy and over-crowded Warsaw, where we landed coming back to Europe
What we all need to be doing. You don't want to go out because you're too scared to or are actually unable to due to being sick or some sort of immune compromise? Okay. Fine. But let us who are confidently fine go out and live as we please, including employees/businesses who wish to go on. End the shutdown.
Defiant to who? their country, their rules and I fully support that they dont let a plandemic stop them from honouring the 27 million people who died for their freedom. God bless Belarus!
Happy Victory Day!!! Also did you see the Victory Day Parade In Belarus. Now that is a country who knows where their loyalty lies. While the bourgeois sympathizers will call them crazy and idiotic, they are the people that will proudly remember the 27 million soviet soldiers who died to free the world from the tyranny and slavery of fascism. While Russia played a suppressed version, as they cowered along with the global fear of the Covid-19 Pandemic, it was the daring charisma and fearlessness of the people of Belarus to perform a remembrance day befitting of the 27 million soviet heroes who should never be forgotten.
They are literally sending their veterans to death. This is so sad. Soviet soldiers didn't risk their lives in war so that the country they live in would, in the future, risk their lives and everyone else's lives too, madly.
