Garden Answer, the only channel where I press the Like button before I've even started watching the video!
I was just thinking that there should be a feature where you can automatically like a video before watching it. :) Always love their videos....
Same here!
@@rebeccawoodbixler9536 Same here!!
E G you and me both.....and I have never had a regret.
Haha! Same!
“They smell good”, Little Benjamin is the sweetest!!😀
I’ve just recently discovered your channel and I am addicted!!! Thank you so much for the great content. After a long day as a nurse, I love to unwind looking at your gorgeous garden.
Looks like someone new is forming future nostalgic memories of the scent of bee balm ❤
Yes! You are right! I hadn't thought of that!!!!
Russell, Cheedar and of course Benjamin lol
Laura, I've watched your videos for over a year now and just love them. I wanted to take a moment to thank you for being a ray of sunshine during this crazy time in life. I look forward to your videos everyday as my little moment of peace.
yall uploading these videos is some of the only sense of normalcy we have right now.. thank you. :)
Good morning thank you for sharing nice flowers nice and bright 🤗👍🌞
"Bud" is becoming quite the little gardener. Without even being prompted, he wanted to know what those beautiful purple flowers smelled like.
NE Sandhiller my dear father-in-law’s name was Benjamin. He was known as Bud his entire life! We all miss grandpa Bud!
@@RC-mc6rc Loosing loved ones is so hard.
Love to see a little one smelling flowers, all of my nieces and nephews played with those adorable lawnmowers. Watching Benjamin brings back all those fun memories as my oldest nephew just turned 43.
Not being able to go to the garden center right now is AGONY. 😭
That's for sure ! Normally I go a few times a month :-)
I went to home depot an got hosta bulbs coladium bulbs pansy seeds an plants two pothos a polka dot plant tulips pink an purple seeds all kinds an another plant i cant name at the moment i planted almost everything in doors but i did it i was going crazy 🤯🤯🤯😂😂😂
The very end of this video; adorable! 😊
Most definitely. Waiting all winter and then having my hopes crushed mere weeks before they were set to open here was crippling.
You might call your local nursery and see if they can box some stuff up to either deliver or for you to come pick up. Our local greenhouses are doing this.
My brother always says, "If you don't ask, the answer is always no." 🙂
🌳🐇🌺🐓🌿🐞🌷🐝🌼🌲
I've been outside a lot this past week. Been planting a lot of stuf myself. I've been moving stuff from my parents old house. Makes me fill closer to them. I miss them both every day. 🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿
Awww I love how Benjamin took time from cutting the grass to smell the flowers🥰🥰
I finally bought some bee balm for our front yard flower bed and it's beautiful 😍!
Loving the little snippets you add to the very end of the video! Benjamin is so cute!
Coffee and Garden Answer in the morning.... your videos are a balm for my soul. Please keep them coming Laura. XOXO for Katy, TX zone 9
Thanks for all your lovely and informative videos. Just so y'all know, you've inspired me so much I've chainsawed and dug a ton of overgrown bushes out of my flower beds. I don't think the former owners of my home ever met a shrub they didn't like!! Excited to see how everything is going to shape up this summer. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge:) Love , love, love the channel!
Benjamin is so smart , it was so sweet that he went right over to the flowers and what he SAID!! ADORABLE!! I love when you & Aaron share him with all of us. Love what you planted, and still ANTICIPATING the video of the walkway and anything from the new property! 😍 We are trapped in the house.. we need videos Laura!!🤣 Let Benjamin roam outside with you, we all would love that! 🙃
Thank you, thank you , thank you for making these informative and helpful videos..... they truly are helping me through this difficult time we are all experiencing. They make me 😃
That monarda will look great with the tree once it blooms. 💚💚💚💚💚💚
Deer & Rabbit resistant too! I’ve been wanting something under my lime light. Thx Laura🌸
Some beautiful plants, some Russel, & some sweet Benjamin....can’t go wrong! Thx for the videos 🌺💚😉
bee balm is such a resilient and reliable plant! i have a few kinds in the garden and the dude that mows our yawn though the plant was a weed and ran it over and it came right back up!
Mom planted ,Benjamin approved ,very precious, thanks for sharing these priceless moments Laura and Aaron ❤
Nice. Cute! Benjamin. I'm happy that you get to be with him more!
Thank you for uploading as much as you do it makes dark days better thank you for being our sunshine on a dark day :) it always is nice to wake up to these beautiful videos we all appreciate you Laura along with you’re sweet family and the kitties thank you😄
Monarda! I love Monarda!!!
I think I might have lost one that I had in a pot for years this past Winter, so this was really great to see this video as I am now shopping for a replacement. I kept my Bee Balm next to my Hummingbird feeder! They loved it too!!!💜💖❤🐷🐝🐞
aww the ending was so cute! Benjamin appreciates your pretty garden, i can tell he is going to grown up having happy memories in it x
I bought two plants last year. Enjoyed them so much. Hoping they survived our winter.
I have always loved Bee Balm! I have planted different varieties & colors! I hadn't noticed your Hydrangea Tree leaning! Did this happen in the last winter season? Looks a lot better staked & standing tall!! 🥰🌱🌿💜❤💜❤🌱🌿
I am so glad you reminded us of this plant! We had it on our farm and yes! It does love sun (but will grow under black walnut trees too)
Bee Balm is one of my favorite and I see it's one of Benjamin's too. Good choice Buddy. 💗🌻🌱💗🌻🌱
Benjamin is going to be the little helper for mum and dad in no time he is so cute. The bee balm is pretty too
Yay! I'm actually awake when you post! I'm normally asleep and wake up to them ❤️ love from Australia!
Your video is something to look forward to everyday especially when Benjamin appeared anytime, that's something I really watch out for...
Moonlight coreopsis would be so pretty with that Monarda.
I loved the Veronica she planted with that Monarda by her kitchen. Wizard of Aaahs, I think it's called.
Benjamin, a boy after my own heart. The first thing I want to know about a flower is what its scent is like. He's a natural gardener like his mama. ~ Lisa
Beautiful color, you have a helper, the little man is very cute .
I love that the video was not sped up and we could see the planting details. Thank you!
Hi Laura and Aaron! I've now added this to my list of "potential" plants for my 2 larger pots on my deck. I love the smell of citrus, too. So cute seeing Benjamin playing outside and smelling the flowers, so sweet! Thank you for sharing!
Bee Balm makes the best herbal tea
I love the scent of the plant, but an oregano-tasting tea, for me, was too bland. Do you add anything to enhance the flavor? Thanks.
@@dowth3 Ah but you are not mixing it right; mix it with spearmint, thai basil, sweet basil, lemon balm, catnip and sweeten with honey
@@tracybruring8440
Thanks; that sounds much better (though less like Monarda tea). Round here, some folks refer to it as Oswego tea. Not sure why, though. I bet that tea smells wunderbar ....
I’m dazzled by the bloom size of the Bee Balms. The color is exquisite too.
Hi! I hope you are doing well! I am so excited to get outside and start planting - my houseplants are all I have right now! New video posting tonight!
Again, another terrific plant that can be divided every few years to create new plants!! A great way to expand the garden! 👍
Great video Laura. Thanks for continuing to post!
Really beautiful flower. I need to look for those. Tfs.
I love Bee Balm! One of the best scents in the garden!
Too cute the Bee Balm and the the baby
Smelling the flowers--ohhh how sweet ♥
Bee balm is one of my four favorite plants. Will be on the lookout for this gorgeous variety.
So beautiful!! Thank you for the idea!!
Benjamin is so sweet and has learned a lot about flowers 🌺.
💜 Love the color of those flowers. Would love some in my garden.
That is such a pretty bee balm and any plant that attracts pollinators in a win for me.
Love the purple Bee Balm beautiful
Beautiful! Love that you include Benjamin in your videos!❤️
Thank you for filling my garden center gap. I may have to just enjoy your spring garden and plan on a fall one. Benjamin always makes me smile. 😊💚
Benjamin smelling the flowers!!! So flipping adorable! Oh and thanks for showing how to stake that tree... I need to do that to a gardenia bush I have a pot. I’m hoping to tie it off to the railing of my deck.
Love the color and size of the Monarda! TFS
Ohhh coffee with Laura, Benjamin and Aaron was so nice this morning. I loved seeing your supervisor's tail for the first bit of the video then he decided to jump down and get closer lol Oh Russell you are such a great part of these videos. Those plants are so pretty and that was so sweet that Benjamin walked over to smell them at the end. May have to see about getting some of those for our garden. My list is getting so long and it's a good thing there is a lot of room on the playground to plant things!!
Remember it's getting the west wind on it, so it may take awhile for the root system to fully develop and secure the tree. Also, as the arbor vitaes continue to produce height that will help.
Really loving the Benjamin videos at the end of all your videos lately, can’t believe how fast he’s growing
Great video Laura :) Russell is such a cutie exploring in the background. My cats are exactly the same way their living their best life when they're being nosy and being explorers 😂🐾🐈💖 The herbal citrus scent of Bee Balm really is so lovely. This year is the first year I've had this beautiful plant and it's now one of my favourites. I love seeing all the butterflies and hummingbirds it's attracting into the garden 💜💜💜
I check the subscribers numbers everyday. Can not wait till it hits the First Million for you. We All will be thrilled .
I always enjoy your music selection. It hits my happy vibes.
Benjamin, a horticulturist in the making.
That is a much better way to stake a tree than I had available. Thanks for sharing.
A beautiful color! The best was at the end with Benjamin such a cutie!
I love bee balm! I have a bed full of them actually in that same color 💕💕💕.
I agree also with the stake that you used. You can’t even see it really with the fencing. Looks good Laura!
My mom would call them Raggedy Ann Tops with the red monarda. It's a fabulous garden flower.
Little Benjamin is so cute. I need him to come and help out in my garden. 🙂
A orange or yellow would look really great if it over laps with the magenta... Like a echinacea or rubeckia! Pretty
Another plant I will add to my list, I love any plant that attracts the pollinators. The temperatures are warming up here (Northern IL) but still getting frost at night so it's a little early to plant here. I'm still cleaning up and planning. Going to order some topsoil and mulch at local garden center and can pick up curbside. Totally off subject but do you aerate or power rake your lawn? I've been aerating in spring and fall and my lawn is looking nicer.
Thanks, now I have to go shopping again. love that plant.
Awww, my Benjamin fix for the day! Thx 🥰
Her cat loves to be around her when planting lol :-)
I am now used to Russell popping in and out in the video that I am now looking forward to it!🤩🤩🤩
I am actually not minding the stay-at-home order I am gardening non stop....
PERFECT WEATHER

🌿🌸🌿
Echinacea looks really nice with monarda.
My bee balm was great its second year. I cant wait for them to bloom this year. Mine smells peppery. But its so pretty and bees just love them ❤
Benjamin is so adorable😍
Awww sweet Benjamin
I like this editing!! Much better than time lapse. I like to hear what’s going on
What a lovely color they are. So pretty!🤗🤗🤗🤭🤭❤❤💙🌻🌻
Will the bee balm stop at 22-28 inch spread? I've pulled them out before because they were so invasive. In 3 years they took over everything.
That variety sounds amazing! And that color! 😍😍😍 I don't have as much experience with bee balm, but I planted a bunch of it in a new pollinator garden at the end of the growing season. I can't wait to see how it does and hoping I won't struggle with powdery mildew.
Another really interesting video. Thank you
Perfect timing! I have a 3 yr old limelight hydrangea and this past year we had high winds causing it to lean A LOT. Is it too old to stake? I tried wiggling the trunk but it didn’t have a lot of movement compared to when you moved yours in the video. Or do we need to replant at an angle?
Try adding some summer Sunset echinacea blooms that would look nice against the black backdrop. Glad to see you're wearing your gloves and taking care of your hands LOL. My goodness does Russell have to be in every clip you're in little camera hog he is LOL. Thank you for sharing the purple flowers one of my favorite colors
Love those!!
We still have a feet of snow in our gardens in Canada. Can’t wait to grow flowers and veggies.
have the old variety bright red..i loved it don't have a problem with mildew which am so happy about .love the video with my morning cup of tea stay safe
I liked the music, Aaron!
I can't picture anything but yellow sombrero coneflower back in that corner.
Love it! But, you only planted 3....not like you. hahahaha Thanks for the video.
They're in bloom before they're supposed to be so something tells me she got them from a company that forced them into bloom for a show or something.
Lovely and helpful! Have you considered doing a strictly native garden somewhere to support bees and butterflies through all stages?
Went to see Benjamin smell the flowers. I went to lowes to get lawn bags and it was so crowded I got what I needed and left. I was disappointed that I couldn’t stay and look at plants.
Hi Laura, it would be beautiful to plant some type bulbs or crocus in and around the bed? 🌷
Love the background music 🎶
love this
I love your videos garden answer😍
