Every Indian Dentist is Intelligent & smart but then Girls usually get married to Green card holder and hence unka kaam easy ho jata Hain. Ladko ka aisa nahi hota , Visa issues ate Hain bahut.
I asked the same question to an educational agent. waiting for their reply. anyhow, you should also consider Australia, they are generous in giving out post study work visa after the two years diploma/degree in oral health in Australia, so can work as a dental hygienist without issue.

Hello, I am currently working in dental office as receptionist. I dont have any education background in dental but I am thinking to study dental assistant in USA. Do I have chance in the future working in the dental field? I already have employer willing to help or sponsor. I would say it depends on the program you get into. I was in an accelerated program(Associate degree) but because I had studied the material before and because our schedule wasn’t so busy, I was able to work part time(3-4 days) for the first 6 months). After that it became a temping job on Saturday’s. Also, I didn’t have kids or other responsibilities other than school and work so it worked out.
I did an associates in applied sciences, it allowed me to work as a clinician. If I wanted to be faculty, I would have needed a masters degree most probably.
@@meenakshiiyer8481 An associate degree in Applied Sciences, Dental Hygiene(subject). It is not a bachelor degree. If you don’t have a bachelors, you will not be able to teach in my understanding. If you have a BDS, it is a bachelor degree. If you want to be come faculty and your bachelor degree is recognized you might just need a masters to do so. With an associate degree you could work as a dental hygienist clinically. Hope this answer helps!
I went to a private school for the accelerated associate DH program. It was an 18 month program. It was approximately 60K plus living expenses and loss of income(as it became full time in the last 12 months). Being a legal resident, I received federal loans.
It depends if you don’t have aptitude than it is worst nightmare for you !! But if you have aptitude for challenging skills, business acumen, creativity and , hard working nature, one must stay on top of continuously training all life than it is amazing
