In Goa now. Was literally looking for a recipe like this. As the beef we get here is tougher than in Europe or US, I was having trouble making one at home. Kudos 😊
Thtas bcozz the beef u get majorly in India is buffalo meat and we don't have cattle farms like Europe and US. Yet if a person knows to cook, wont hav issue with the quality of meat.
@@suvajitkar2725 Yes I know. But quality of meat is an important part of cooking. Buffalo meat is not great for dishes like steak. It's fine for curries.
@@suvajitkar2725 well here in Mumbai I only buy beef from bulls and blocks which taste much better than Buffalo due to the higher fat content. But even then the meat is quite tough most of the times. Indian beef is generally very hard compared to beef in other countries. So it's better to marinate it with yoghurt first and salt and pepper and then cook it in the cooker first and then fry it!
Loved this beef steak, thanks for a delicious treat. A superb recipe and a beautiful audio-visual. I've rarely found that combination even in videos made by professional chefs. To top it off, the fact that it's a Goan video makes it even more unbelievable. And Fantastic!
Wow...already making my mouth water. Must give it a try. My family loves steak with a side sauce of garlic . Saturday is preferably steak day. Be it of beef, pork or chicken. Thanks dear for sharing.

Hi how to make this beef steak tender because even though it's cooked perfectly mu husband says it's not cooked and the meat is hard due to frying in oil. Any alternative for this?
Is it really goans beef steak? I don't feel, I'm a goan, never seen steak is served with rice and plain curry, the mash potatoes not like that it should be whisked well with butter and cream, nutmeg, salt to taste and white pepper, thnx
Hi Florence recipe, yr presentation is good but the Music Applause is coming in the way for readers to read the exact ingredients or measure yr using. Mind giving the exact ingredients & meaure on the right side as the music/applause is coming in the way on the left side. Thanks you dear
Hello Maria! For this recipe, I use a tenderloin steak (also called an ‘undercut’) and this chunk of meat is very tender. It doesn't need pressure cooking, and cooks very quickly. While purchasing, it's better to mention that you're looking for steak meat (there are various steak cuts), as they result in tender, more juicy meat and don't need to be pressure cooked as the tougher parts of the animal. Hope this helps 💫
Florency, I tried this one and it turned out great. I served it with avocado salad and mashed potatoes. Thank you for sharing.
Too good.love your way of making all the goan dishes. Thnx alot.

Very good recipe! But I thought you can’t eat beef in India. So many died because of beef
What bullshit? Why ru spreading rumors about India? We get beef easily...I even cook at home
😂, people are eating,
I think you are high on weed😂
Beef is ban in north India but apparently not in most of South India
@@irsh941988 No dude, u get in Himchal, Delhi, Lucknow etc.
Cow beef is banned in India. Many people got killed just on presumption they had cow beef in North part of India.
But eating buffalo beef is legal.
