It is a shame that you never showed the entire Go Kart.
My introduction to racing was just GoKart anno 58 onwards. As I remember Kart’s with twin Mac’s were hard to beat.

I have a Fox featherlite in my shop. Bought it in 1963 for $150, had a mac 7 on it.

They didn't have clutches in 1960. You had to push start.
They did have clutches back then but they really hurt performance
How do u get them to sync together
