I find videos that show results with fig quality during rainy, humid conditions quite helpful. It's neat seeing perfectly ripe, caprified figs out in California but does me no good with conditions in a humid, 9b climate. I highly encourage more videos of this nature as the information is more relevant to all of us down in the South. Thanks for sharing your findings.
Love these videos. Could you make a video with a list of the best figs. Considering taste, pest, production etc. would be amazing thanks! I would like to put a few more figs in my back yard and want to know the best!
I suspect that the Golden Dawn was so sweet because there were so few fruit (Better fruit to leaves ratio). I thinned the fruit on my 1st year Black Jack. The one fruit I left on the tree ended up dripping honey and I could still taste the sweetness 20mins after eating it. I wanted to plant the idea for a reason. I suspect that this will help you (and me and others) out with all of our trees. My plan? I plan to go through my trees and thin the fruit just a little. I will be plucking the ones with larger eyes off first. My trees shall see the Sun from sunrise till sunset too... for maximum sugar production. I shall build an abundance of minerals in the soil for better flavor in my figs. That is all. End message. 😁
Hi, love your channel. I’m just wondering why everyone talks about the Azores black but no one talks about the Azores White. Do folks refer to it by a different name or is just not a popular fig in the fig community??
I can't find anything online about the golden dawn fig. I live in E NC (Wayne Co.) and we've had a lot of rain this year. Where can I get a starter for this fig? Can I get one from you?

So where can I get this variety? I live along the Northern California redwood coast, lots of rain
Best chance is to stay vigilant on Figbid.
Do you sell cuttings from these two?
