As a connoisseur of soda beverages, when tapping the top of the can, do so with the nail, solidly, a good ten times directly on the pin of where the pop tab connects with the can. It works about 90% of the time, or significantly decreases the explosive factor. LOVE THIS CONTENT DO MORE

I am so happy they listened to us that we were getting tired of the food episodes. This episode had me laughing so hard at work (I work for a local college's IT department in the library) that I was getting strange looks. A few people actually came over and said they were fans of Rhett & Link and were excited to watch today's episode upon hearing my laughter. This episode reminded me of old school GMM so much. I don't know how Dr. Pepper wasn't one of the most volatile sodas, even the slightest disruption of the soda causes it to try to explode.

There was something so great about this episode. I don't really know what, but it felt like an old GMM episode. And Rhett and Link both seemed like they were having so much fun which made it even better!
I believe I remember once seeing a diver in a decompression chamber shaking a soda can then opening it without it exploding. And saying something about how the pressure prevented the same thing in his blood.
