I think they were both just totally misunderstanding eachother. Totally understandable on both sides, and I think we see this when they were just beginning to realize how much in common they have on that vacation, when heather picked up a cranky Bethenny and tossed her in the ocean, and they both just started laughing. They have more in common than they don’t. But they are both very honest, and I think Bethenny was a little suspicious of Heather’s intentions, because she’s dealt with so many phonies, and Heather maybe, hasn’t as much, and may have been a bit genuinely confused. And it ended before it began, the story of Bethenny and Heather. Now we are stuck with a bunch of rehab candidates, and Leah. No, she doesn’t count. She still gets the joke.
Bethenny did not need to apologize for anything. I found that Heather was TOO needy and suffocating; they were strangers at that moment, what was her deal? Neither are wrong. They're just on different pages. If she gave an option and then let it go. When you are used to carrying a heavy load all the time and people fail you, you just can't accept attention or be the focus. There have never been two worst matched, opposite people on Earth than Heather and Bethany.
Neither are wrong. They're just on different pages. If she gave an option and then let it go. When you are used to carrying a heavy load all the time and people fail you, you just can't accept attention or be the focus. To get to where someone can care for you and you let them in, it takes a long time. Heather just hasn't had that experience and she wants to be a good friend and be kind and caring. But Bethanny is not ready for that. But...she needs to let go and learn to accept help and that doesn't mean she is indebted to anyone other then a sincere thank you. I've been on Bethanny's side of things. But I moved to a culture where you have to let people help you or its very very rude. I adjusted. Now I appreciate that when people are kind, it doesn't mean they have alterior motives. And if they do, that's not my problem. I am now more of a type B personality than a type A. I'm much more happy. Perfectionism is a sign of being abused and having had no control of that. And wanting people to like you, so you control everything and do for yourself, so no one can judge you. You pick the attention you get, YOUR way.

I think the alliance eventually broke up because Carole and Bethenny connected, and both LuAnn and Ramona don't ever stick to anything.
