When Bethenny made fun of her at the charity early in the season it triggered something in her, she would say anything to remove herself from situations she thought were threatening. It’s actually really sad to watch. Glad that things improved for her so much the next season.
She’s the product of an upbringing during which she was never held accountable for her poor behaviour because of how pretty she is. This is someone who has coasted on her looks her entire life, and so has not developed any form of considerable intellect or social skill.
