Surprise you did not get ahold of the Sony A900 / A850 full frame 24 megapixel monsters from 2008 era, these are CMOS but people in the colour fanatics circles call it the colour beast, apparently it is among strictest of CFA with extremely appealing images, its also absolute horrible for a full frame in higher ISO which makes it interesting to turn ISO up for those slide film looks, its even got IBIS (In-body image stabilisation) that can in fact sync with the lens just like a modern camera, this is ideal for using vintage lenses with, and has arguably one of the best mirrors in business, very high coverage, A900 is 100% while A850 is 98%, the A850 is cheaper alternative basically its got less mirror coverage and 3fps instead of 5fps and thats about it LOL. I think Andre's response gets right to the point but I would add that in my experience as someone who spends a lot of time in the digital darkroom, raw images from a CCD sensor have a much easier and pleasing ability to hit a color space that feels very filmic. And the inherent limitations of the sensor (less dynamic range; more noise) also present more of a fun challenge than a modern camera that is so excellent, it does most of the work for you. @@OneMonthTwoCameras No, no, no, please don't get me wrong. I didn't say it to show "mistake". Actually, it was a disappointment. Because I was looking for a digicam with a good zoom range and the s6400 was a very good choice. But when I searched, I saw that it was a CMOS sensor and I gave up on it. Now for a moment in the video I questioned myself "I wonder if I searched wrong? Was it really a CCD sensor?" and frankly I got sad again when I saw that it wasn't like that.
@@OneMonthTwoCameras yes it is. I was going to ask this on Instagram but here we are. I'm wondering what are the main differences between old (2000s) and newer (2010s) CCD sensors in digicams? But Nikon S6400 is CMOS. :/
I mean one out of 15 is a pretty good ratio :P
@@OneMonthTwoCameras No, no, no, please don't get me wrong. I didn't say it to show "mistake". Actually, it was a disappointment. Because I was looking for a digicam with a good zoom range and the s6400 was a very good choice. But when I searched, I saw that it was a CMOS sensor and I gave up on it. Now for a moment in the video I questioned myself "I wonder if I searched wrong? Was it really a CCD sensor?" and frankly I got sad again when I saw that it wasn't like that.
@@muradmammadliyt Oh sorry about that!!! It's still early CMOS though and some of those can still be very nice so it might be worth checking out.
@@OneMonthTwoCameras yes it is.
I was going to ask this on Instagram but here we are. I'm wondering what are the main differences between old (2000s) and newer (2010s) CCD sensors in digicams? I'm not talking about specs like iso or dr. Yes, newer is better. But how about colors, tones? They say CCD is more like film but is this true when talking about 2010's (for example) Fuji CCDs?
Well this completely messed up your whole project on having less cameras...
Seeeeeriously 😂
Samsung. They are always being low-key weird in some way or another.
Yessssss
