One change I would make is in a normal season (non covid) let every driver have a chance to win the pole in qualifying. Let the playoff drivers start up front based on their times would make qualifying very exciting
I thought they should have a random draw from all drivers every week. Why not give some new drivers a chance to start from the front. It most likely wouldn't last but we could have had some nice early cautions.
Harvick deserved what he got. That was a dirty move and if he did get that position Nascar should’ve taken it away. Never liked Kevin or Kyle but that move was BS!
Man... What can you say about this season, with one race left, than just... Wow... The driver who has won 1/4 of the races... Is out of the Championship Four... Who would've predicted that? No, seriously... How many people actually predicted that Kevin Harvick wouldn't make it to the Final Four?
In every sport you need to win in the playoffs to advance. Harvick hasn't had a great run of races in the entire playoffs, and this one at Martinsville was terrible, the car was no where near as fast as many of the other cars. It's that simple, of you want an easy coast to final 4 win races like 22 did, harvick got an extra points for "winning" the regular season but ALL races matter.
No The system is fine If harvick wasn't such a selfish teammate all year, maybe his teammates would have cut him some slack but no he decided that he was the only driver at SHR, so that's what he gets 😎😎
Kevin harvick deserved not to advance. You can clearly see he hit that car . I don't watch Nascar anymore since Jeff Gordon retired. I very much love the 24 rainbow car.
Why don’t teammates help each other in nascar? The 14 and 10 were just ahead of the 4. If they let him past, then he would have made it through. It’s not like either of them were in the lead. That’s really strange to me.
Because "teammate" in Nascar is different from other sports. They are supposed to do the best they can, i.e. independently from one another. Because the team one, not the entire organization. Or in other words, if Harvick wins, that Harvick victory, not for his "teammates" of the 14 and 10.

If I recalled, he did do this one time in the roval race in 2019 against Bubba
@@ESPN.A.Smith_20 he did but that was after multiple laps of pissing each other off and i believe bubba even flipped him the finger
This exposes everything wrong with the playoffs I mean we're looking at a guy with 9 freaking wins in 1 season and no dnfs and he is the champion based off points but no NASCAR wants a little bit more action in the season... Well you got it NASCAR and you've denied a driver with one of the greatest seasons in recent history a championship not to mention Hamlin with 7 wins was nearly eliminated as well... But hey we got a desperate move at the finish so the ratings will go up... SMH. You have lost my respect NASCAR greatest isn't allowed anymore.
Happened to Ryan Newman a few years back before these stupid Playoff rules.
I personally like them because they have to be consistent and a champion isn’t someone who wins 3 races but then only finishes 15 and still wins so I think the that they should keep the system
@@chaseballenger8998 THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HARVICK DID YOU IDIOT HE FINISHED EVERY RACE ONLY HAS LIKE 4 BOTTOM 20 FINISHES AND HAS WON 9 RACES... NOW TELL ME WHY HE SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO FIGHT FOR HIS CHAMPIONSHIP
@@4_14_fan i think that he is one of the best drivers on the grid but he is out because over the round of 8 he wasn’t consistent and you need to be consistent I know he was consistent in the regular season but this is the playoffs and he wasn’t consistent in the last 2 rounds
@@chaseballenger8998 NASCAR starts Texas in the rain and causes Harvick to hit the wall. Kansas he had the fastest car by a long shot but the aero package made it to where Logano just had to mirror drive and Martinsville he was looking at a good top 10 finish but got desperate because of the playoffs... He also had 9 wins...
So
LETS RANT ABOUT THE PLAYOFFS
Why?
Jimmie are you ever going to finish a race without having a problem
NASCAR Silly Season because harvick that's why
No Actual Way no never, there's always a problem but it is what it is
Hi fake Jimmie
What a performance by Brad
Got this notification on lap 223 of the champ 4 race. Good job youtube.
I was having such a great day, until I was told Harvick didn’t make it and I was ticked off
Hello there.
Boooo hoooo
same, rip
My day got even better seeing Harvick out! Lol!
Top 5s:
Harvick 20
Hamlin 17
Elliot 14
Kesolowski 12
Logano 11
Top 10s:
Harvick 26
Kesolowski 23
Elliot 21
Logano 20
Hamlin 20
Wins:
Harvick 9
Hamlin 7
Elliot 4
Kesolowski 4
Logano 3
NASCAR point system blows!!!
The only thing that Harvick messed up on was turning in on Busch to soon! He should have been further up on Busch before turning in! Great effort on his part!
So we're not going to talk about how Jimmie and Clint's final races are next week? (Most likely)
@@nickmangona48 and who would he drive for cause the 4 car rule him running for anybody other than RIck would be sacrilege
@@hell-sol5240 62 for gaunt brothers racing since they don't have a driver
@@nickmangona48 He probably won't have much time for NASCAR if he's running Indy full time.
Jimmie is leaving nascar for IndyCar and for Clint idk

Kyle Busch played an uno reverse card on Harvick
Not so Happy Harvick couldn't close today. So much for all that dominance.
Dang, Mikey's new driver still in the chase at a muscular 21st. Wow!
The 4 had me 😂😂😂😂😂
Not the first time Matt Kenseth has ended somebody's championship 4 hopes at Martinsville.....
remember it was logono that ended kenseths hopes first
Cough cough Joey Logano
I was surprised that Harvick made the final four last year and this year I'm surprised that Harvick didn't make the final four this year
Greatest race of the year, no doubt
Both Talladega's and spring bristol imo were better
@@coryharrelson7610 oh. I forgot about spring bristol, that race was amazing
INSANE FINISH
As a hamlin fan this was a very scary race especially when jones started pressuring him
Erik Jones could have easily drove around him. The 20 car was even protecting the 11 in the final few laps from other drivers trying to get by.
I love it! Gone are the days when Earnhardt and Gordon or anyone else had the Championship won before the final race. These four teams after fighting to make it to Phoenix, will now fight at Phoenix for the Championship. I love the newer format.
Thanks HARVICK do this to Kyle more often plz
Kyle was in the same position at Bristol he could turned and been in the playoffs
Harvick had incredible numbers. And he don’t even get a chance to race for a championship, nascar needs to figure this out
Martinsville is a great semifinal race, absolute title deciding CAHOS.
So with that the Final 4 will be
Joey Logano
Chase Elliot
Brad Keselowski
& Denny Hamlin
Fan after Bristol: Where’s Kevin Harvick?
@@qxz584 Gone. Reduced to atoms.
@@troyandrade615 I already knew that
OK OK I clicked on this just to see KB get spun out. Yes it was worth It :D
@@Sparty1966grad I was talking playoffs
harvick just wow just wow
Chase to win the championship
Nice save KB.
Harvick deserved what he got. That was a dirty move and if he did get that position Nascar should’ve taken it away. Never liked Kevin or Kyle but that move was BS!
Kyle would have done the same thing. But Kyle would have made it work and got the pass.
@@donnapickard5766 yes he would have. Kyle’s a hell of a driver and knows how to make things like that work.
Man... What can you say about this season, with one race left, than just... Wow... The driver who has won 1/4 of the races... Is out of the Championship Four... Who would've predicted that? No, seriously... How many people actually predicted that Kevin Harvick wouldn't make it to the Final Four?
Me because he has shitty playoff runs
who got jimmie johnson roval vibes on that last lap for harvick?
Kyle Busch is the 360 God
As a KH fan I guess I will be rooting for chase or BK next weekend...
To be the best, you got to beat the best, awesome job Chase. Go win yourself a championship 💪
Awesome race
Nascar change ur system
No The system is fine If harvick wasn't such a selfish teammate all year, maybe his teammates would have cut him some slack but no he decided that he was the only driver at SHR, so that's what he gets 😎😎
Kevin harvick deserved not to advance. You can clearly see he hit that car . I don't watch Nascar anymore since Jeff Gordon retired. I very much love the 24 rainbow car.
Harvick: Gimme that spot
Kyle: nope
Harvick: -Tries to spin Kyle-
Kyle: -saves it-
Kyle: Is that all you got?
Harvick: Rage quits
Yes my favorite nascar driver won
SAMEEEEEE
Kyle Busch: I did a full 360
Why don’t teammates help each other in nascar? The 14 and 10 were just ahead of the 4. If they let him past, then he would have made it through. It’s not like either of them were in the lead. That’s really strange to me.
Because "teammate" in Nascar is different from other sports. They are supposed to do the best they can, i.e. independently from one another. Because the team one, not the entire organization. Or in other words, if Harvick wins, that Harvick victory, not for his "teammates" of the 14 and 10.
Wow couldn't tell what Harvick did there. 😳
I really want to see Eric Estepp reaction to this race.
