I've been having an absolute blast with these guys. Veritant Prosecutor 3 reclusians 2 gryph crows Its nice having a super control based warband that can still scrap when needed.
As a follow up for the veritant, even if you don't turn an ability off, it makes things like beast flayers sound the hunt not nearly as useful. So even if you don't have a guy in range your impacting plans.
Also the dreadblade/prosecutor comparison is super good, but it's worth noting that most other teleport abilities are on triples, which makes the prosecutors super nutty. Even the GSG Madcap destruction is a triple
One question about Prosecutors. Description of "Through Darkened Skies" skill says "Remove this fighter from the battlefield, then set them up on a platform or the battlefield floor, more than 5" from all enemy fighters". If a prosecutor is carrying a treasure, does it fall down on the map when you remove him from the battlefield during the teleport?
He can totally teleport away with it :) the only restrictions to treasure are that you aren't allowed to fly, are at -2M and drop it when you die so you are allowed to teleport
Some of these profiles feel like they forgot that only reclusians can use the strength buff double - lore wise these guys are supposed to be the super elite of the Stormcast, and then their big mounted boss is S4? 😅
I wish GW didn't mess up the gryph-crow instructions and apparently give the wrong base size (still don't know what it's supposed to be lol), because this looks really awesome! Glad that stormcast gets to have lil guys too now, thank you for this!
Sure; The Reclusian Prime has a real good statline for the points you are paying. Also if you wanted to go down the fast disruption route, the Knight Azyros is a good, if pricey choice.
yeah the issue is that its on the lord veritant sprue so you cant even get them separately for the time being. I totally wouldnt mind my opponent playing gryph hounds instead as long as they were on the right base;
@@OffMetaMusings yes, I wouldn't object either - the right base size of base is an interesting point though given the misprint in the Skaventide instructions! As it's a token in AOS it doesn't matter for that. I've seen lots of people say it's meant to be on a 32mm and refering to a warcom article clarifying this, but I can't find that article.
Dear brother, Please explain their new reaction Ancient Aura, this reaction can deny abilities that dont use the value of the dice? for example: Bounding Leap (Double for Gorgers mawpack) this ability dont use the value of the dice but the dice allways have a value. or you can deny only abilities wich use the value of the dice?
In the core rules, if anything needs to refer to the value of an ability, it's always the value on the dice. So despite bounding leap not actually needing the ability value, Ancient Aura can still stop it because the value of the dice is still whatever you rolled.
@@BigBrushBob When you start to actually build with Ruination Chamber, the lists end up somewhere in the 7-fighter mark and thats with 3x crows. Their main issue is that they are still T3 and only 6 wounds so they get knocked over by pretty much anything conceding alot of tempo to your opponent.

Veritant
Prosecutor
3 reclusians
2 gryph crows

That sounds nice :)
Comes out just as I'm building some reclusians for my own warband. Top stuff 👌
I didn't realize how the anti magic reaction and the Lord Veritant complimented each other. That's super nuts

I think the only other fighter with a teleport on a double is the FEC winged hero but his stats are nowhere near the prosecutor for the points.

I may have acquired 4 gryph-crows... Better get on with building and painting the rest of my team 😂

The crow is on a 32mm base; they did a note in the skaventide preorder warcom article confirming :)
@OffMetaMusings ahh thank you. Guess worst case is I just put my current model on top of another base if its wrong
Does the Ruination Chamber provide any alright allies for other warbands? Thinking Soulsworn or Wildercorps for me

@@OffMetaMusings Oo awesome thank you
The Prosecutor Prime as well is a pretty great choice. 10 inch move and a double teleport has tons of uses.
I'm intrigued... but where can I get that many gryph crows without buying 4 copies of Skaventide?!

Excited to try out a Ruination warband after this video. One thing though: that's not how you pronounce hyperbole!
English is a difficult language :P
😂
