- Testing the new Peavey 6505 MH! Awesome little amp. Set to 5w here running through a Marshall 1960 4x12 Cabinet. Them Bones by AIC. Filmed with an LG V20 in manual mode with high bitrate audio.

Jay, very sweet! What was your settings on 6506MH? Sounds awesome. I am getting two of them this week as well as a Line 6 HX effects unit. Plan on running a Wet/Dry setup. The tone here is awesome. Would like to try your setup when I get them. Thanks
Thanks! From what I recall, mids around 6, treble around 6 and bass full on. Resonance full on too, and presence at like 6.5.

@@billk9799 yes i realized . I come from a van halen influence mainly and i liked alice in chains instantly and mainly for the guitar work and tone on guitar
Awesome licks my friend !! What string guage do you use? What does the Rampage come with factory .009 or .010 ? I got one on layaway gonna request new strings. They said they think .009's are on it but has a slight buzz E string 2nd fret. Told them to give it to Luthier at GC to put some ..010's on it try and get out the buzz if needs minor adjustments before shipping to me. Different Rep said it wasn't buzzing until he busted a e string while playing it extensively the other day replaced with some .009's said that might be the problem? Will check it out before shipping. I used .009 Slinky's for many years on my Jackson Soloist but they sounded a lil thin or bright... nowadays I use .010 slinky's on my LP and HK guitars...Dunno what's on the Jackson currently coz unplayable due to bad need of refret and possible one section of ebony and probably a rebinding around the neck. Haven't played it in a very long time.Thanks, KJ
