If we hold another vote before the first vote has been honoured, then we are not democratic.
If we are forced to remain in the EU, then we are not sovereign.

I think we need to see a draft treaty from Nigel Farage. The problem with the referendum is it asked an idealistic question with no detail on how it would be implemented. Now there are multiple versions of what that could be, and everyone is claiming that their version is the 'will of the people'. Give us a draft treaty and ask the people again what they want!

Brexit has destroyed British business, not European ones, farmers are struggling to cope, Lorry drivers are up to their neck with paperwork, it has also shrunk our economy by 4% wiping away £100bn a year. Nigel never detailed how Brexit would work, he never had a plan for it, so many Brexiteers had their own version of Brexit and they all said the same thing, "its the will of the people". It's in the newspapers maybe once a month maximum. From the Very beginning, it's a national issue, from the poverty and inequality, to the Tories in-fighting, GE, and now today. All inside the UK.
The rest of the EU does not care anymore.

@@brezhou29 Basically UK has been trying to negotiate for a few protections for EU citizens in the UK and for UK citizens abroad so that no one is left stranded causing some bureaucratic nonsense impacting movement. Secondly they want a continuation of current trading rules until trade negotiations are completed, so as to not negatively affect trade. The UK is the 5th largest economy after all.
The problem is that the EU will only allow this if the UK is willing to fork out large payments to the EU and remain subordinate to the European Court of Justice among other nonsense, even though both wants are mutually beneficial. The EU is willing to hurt their own to get at Britain.

As for Ireland, the border is currently ordained by treaty between the UK and the Republic of Ireland, see The Good Friday Agreement. Should the EU interfere (which they wish to do in the case of a no deal scenario) they will be directly interfering in the business of two sovereign nations. This is why many people see the EU as tyrannical and authoritarian since they can control the actions of supposedly independent states. EU nations are vassals. This is why Britain wants to leave.

Previously when these two argued Farage shouted all over Campbell. Farage said "countries were queuing up, queuing up to give Britain trade deals" . That was two years ago. Since then, all the major trading countries and most minor ones have said they will not be offering the UK trade agreements until the UK has settled it's position with Europe, our easily largest trading partners. Trade consultants and diplomats say this would take easily 7 years and is far more complicated than the withdrawal agreement which is incomplete after 3 years. Noe of this is sustainable.

Interesting that when they want to offer a 2nd Referendum they never present the idea of a vote between these 2 things: May's Deal or No Deal. However, no one's suggesting that because it's not the answer or solution they want. That's what a 2nd referendum should be asking, not the same question again. So if people vote Brexit again, what then? Then they are back to square one. Brexit was democratically decided. The only question is how to go about it now. End of discussion.

Leave - We'll leave the EU and be an independent country. Pick your favourite example, "Norway"? Interesting interpretation of "independent".
Remain - we will continue our agreement with the EU and attempt to air any grievances through the EU process.
When I voted, I was expecting a relationship to the EU similar to that of Switzerland, or the US, or China or Russia, with a soft trade border due to common land and interests

    2a - Leave without a deal
    2b - Leave with a deal
Anyone voting 1, simple enough, they're for remaining, and anyone voting either of the options under 2 are counted as leave voters. Ridiculously simple, unless I'm missing something.

Forget your personal views but if you ACTUALLY LISTEN TO WHAT FARAGE SAYS he is always correct about Europe..he represents US in EU and he has the publics best interests. Nigel knows EXACTLY how the EU parliament ticks. He knows EXACTLY how they work, he understands the people VERY WELL, understands the ridiculous beaurocracy, the immense waste of money, the devious nature of the EU, the unnaccountability of the EU, the failed EU Project (why a project? This terminology is itself ambiguous) was never what we wanted in 1972/73. He should have been directly advising Theresa May how to move forward for the BEST DEAL FOR THE UK FROM DAY ONE. People want to turn away from Brexit not because it is the wrong thing to do but because of poor or non existant management of negotiations by Theresa May and the affect on business as a result of it. The people that do understand what is bad about the EU realise that it is the EU that is creating the red tape. Brexit voters realise that. The EU is the problem at all levels. Think about solutions and not the problems created by the EU. Why didn't Theresa May set up an all party committe, a Business and Corporate Committee with trained negotiators and a process of engaging business to back the UK as an important trade customer? Iceland is very successful outside the EU. The UK Will be also. Question why the EU needed 30+Billion..what for? Question it. It is because the EU is just hemorrhaging money. Dont let May throw money to the EU. UK taxpayers worked very hard for that so it MUST be non negitable.. no leave payments. Perhaps the EU should give the UK 30 Billion as a sweetener? Remember did you vote for Lisbon Treaty? What is the problem.. lets cut the EU red tape, negotiate harder, no financial pay offs which the EU sound desparate for, lets get out of the EU red tape misery. Get firm with the EU, tell it to them straight and ensure contingency for trade.

Completely agree with what you’ve said!!! Brexit voters did so because they are confident in the abilities of our country and know how to recognise authoritarianism when they see it. Leaving on WTO rules seems the best option now, given that the PM messed up the negotiations completely. It’ll be hard for the city at the start but the country will move on VERY WELL.
