That's what I was thinking. Have you seen the Orphan? now that movie is wrong for me because a real child was being sexualized. But I don't know what Steph will say because she seems to believe the character's age more than the actor's real age.

@@PilotEarhart i believe the issue is that despite being 27 in real life she looks believably like a teen not a 27 year old. i think that is the problem. i can't seriously imagine that a 12 year old could believably look like a 33 year old. it's still hard for me to accept that the actress that plays juliette is actually older than the actress that plays elanore. they just dont look it at least not in this movie. perhaps off screen when they are trying to look like someone 10 years younger than they actually are they might look like an adult. i am personally not bothered by them kissing but i can understand why someone might.
dude how is this predictable I was hooked first episode. I liked they had an actual black female love interest. ❤️ 😍 💖 anyway the budget for the show was so small. the smallest. so the cheese the cheese is real. and my its my new guilty pleasure
If you want a movie suggestion, I would suggest "Everything Everywhere all at once", It's not fully focused on being gay but one of the main characters is gay. And the movie itself is beautiful. It's already one of my favorite movies ever. I can promise you'll have a great time watching it.

everybody I've talked to who watched this show already watched Carmilla. It was quite a big deal among queer RUclipsrs even a few years back, I doubt any sapphic vampire fans haven't watched Carmilla yet.
I feel like its worth suggesting it. And even if you watched something already time can give you a different perspective on it. Plus spreading the word to the newer generations. And also to see someone commenting on both the show and on the book (that i have yet to read), would be really cool.

as for an average series, the show has everything. And the participation of Elizabeth Mitchell is more than a pleasant surprise. a brilliant actress who we remember from many super series: Lost, Once upon a time, Revolution..
