DarkSouls - How to beat Smough and Ornstein

i cant play this game, i kept dying in the spawn area because the guy hitting his head on the wall would spam swing his broken ass sword and i kept dying from it, i tried sneaking past him and realized the ones that dont attack you are ones that dont spread eagles and ruin your life, i ran past them, got absolutely clobber ghasted by the asylum demon and didnt even notice there was an OPEN DOOR TO THE LEFT OF THE ARENA, i spent 48 minutes trying to figure out which swing did the most damage, after learning and dying from the obese aneurysm of a demon, i ran through the door, set a bonfire and moved up the tunnel to see better weapons in the cells to my left :/
and keep in mind, i spent 5 minutes trying to dodge the boulder on the stairs, trying to learn dodge mechanics...
i made way to this fog and bro was sitting below me like he wanted smoke, i jumped down and took fall damage (idk why it would put you up there) rolled till stamina was low and died like 9 times, i kept dying at the boulder but the 4th time made me realize there was a hole in the wall with oscar or idk that guy from shark tale, give me like 5 sunny d bottles and a key, finally i killed the demon after realizing the game has a plunge downward attack and then i BEAT THE TUTORIAL LEVEL...
I spent time on this game not realizing how stressful the beginning was, worst of all i knew what was to come
fuck this game, idk why i even attempted this boss fight, and dont buy this buy elden ring
