I have been really trying my best to keep my canna lilies alive... I just recently came to allow the plant to dry a day after good waterings... getting used to keeping my Russelia equisetiformis more dry and less daily waterings...I got one I can't keep looking like it's alive... it 's been brown since I bought it.... Hi Patricia! 👋 Thank YOU for watching and commenting! 😉 Yes, those canna's weren't easy to divide. 💪 Definitely an easier way. 😃 A small or regular shovel would work fine too. If you only have a saw, that can work in a pinch to get them divided as well. Hope this helps and happy gardening! 😃
Hi, I have about 2-3 foot canna plants in the ground. I would like to dig one up and give it to a friend to put in her garden. Is it likely to survive if dug up and put in a new garden? Many thanks

We make sure they are planted at the right depth, get the right amount of sunlight and water, and some fertilizer every two weeks or so.
