    This is the third time you were spot on with my to do list. I was getting frustrated and thinking of terminating these canna lilies.

    I have been really trying my best to keep my canna lilies alive...
    I just recently came to allow the plant to dry a day after good waterings...
    getting used to keeping my Russelia equisetiformis more dry and less daily waterings...I got one I can't keep looking like it's alive... it 's been brown since I bought it....
    Thanks SG
    Keep it up!!
    Cheers

    Greeeat video thank you guys so much. I’m ready to move my cannas to a spot designated for only tropical plants but I’m zone 8a, so I’m waiting for fall to hit here too

    Thank you for sharing your expertise. Sean, it looks and sounds like you need very strong arms and hands to divide the cannas. Are there other ways to successfully do this? How 'forgiving' are they?

      Hi Patricia! 👋 Thank YOU for watching and commenting! 😉 Yes, those canna's weren't easy to divide. 💪 Definitely an easier way. 😃 A small or regular shovel would work fine too. If you only have a saw, that can work in a pinch to get them divided as well. Hope this helps and happy gardening! 😃

    Hi, I have about 2-3 foot canna plants in the ground. I would like to dig one up and give it to a friend to put in her garden. Is it likely to survive if dug up and put in a new garden? Many thanks

    How do you get your canna lilies to bloom in containers?

    • @SpokenGarden
      @SpokenGarden  3 года назад +1

      Hi Pinkpearls! 👋 Thank you for watching our video and leaving your question. We don't do anything special with our canna's. We make sure they are planted at the right depth, get the right amount of sunlight and water, and some fertilizer every two weeks or so. If you are having any trouble with your canna's blooming in your containers, let us know and we can troubleshoot to help. 😃👍 Either on here or you can email us directly at seanandallison@spokengarden.com and we can go from there. 😊

      @@SpokenGarden Ah oh ok you’re very welcome. ☺️
      I’ll try to water them more and fertilize them every 2 weeks like you’ve done for yours and it if that doesn’t work I will be sure to let you know! Thanks for responding and giving more advice on it 🥰
