    Looks great, lots to setup with them, but I guess they're advanced audio and only need setting up once. Are they high-fidelity, I think I saw a hi-fi setting or something there? Great review Pete! 👍

      Yeah, they're fab Ashley. Not super cheap, but you can use the software to make them sound like pretty much anything! I'll show more in the coming weeks.

    It sounds like these speakers are great. Don't know if I want to spend that much right now...I liked the review you did for the Presonus Eris. Are you still pretty satisfied with those given the budget category they fall in?

      @PeteJohnsMusic  Месяц назад

      Hey there! Yes. I must admit, that while the iLouds are fabulous, they are not quite as good from a "value" perspective as the Eris. I haven't spoken to anyone who has bought the Eris and regretted it.

    I haven't got a mobile studio, but I don't have a lot of room on my desk, so I was thinking about getting these. I got a question. Can you use the XLR port and the usbc at the same time? I want to plug in my line6 pod go via XLR and use the USBc for computer sound.

      @PeteJohnsMusic  2 месяца назад

      Hmmmm…. Not actually sure sorry? Don’t believe the USB-C is for audio specifically?

      @@PeteJohnsMusic Oh that is a shame. I will have to find out. I want to use them with my pod go, but also for video production, and the USBC would have been good if it works.

    I have the old micro, but more for listening music too. How would you compare these to normal speakers. My room is super small. I was also looking for the possibility to connect a subwoofer. I’m happy this is now possible.

      Yeah, they really pack a punch! I have a pretty small space and they are possibly even overkill for that. Would be perfect for most small to medium spaces.

    i am so Jealous... ive always wanted those monitors for my little studio... but they are really expensive where I live...

      Are they? I’m curious where you’re from. In my country they are priced at €677.59, including VAT, for a pair with ARC microphone included. They also sell the little brother, the iLoud Micro Monitor for just below €300,- a pair. They are missing out on quality compared to the Pro, have a shared powered monitor (one monitor has the amp for both speakers) and they don’t have ARC capabilities. An alternative to these two examples are the Yamaha HS3. Sold at €253 a pair, or the HS4 at only €296 a pair. Both are affordable, have great sonic capabilities and are great quality (soundwise but also the build itself). Good luck 🍀

      Yup. Canada and Australia get the tough end of the stick when it comes to most products. They are great but for the price I’d still consider the Preismus Eris

    I love IK MultiMedia and although these are reasonably priced, there are far better options available (also somewhat more expensive). I use both hardware and software from IK MultiMedia and my honest opinion is that price to quality ratio is mediocre at best. So yeah, I have a love hate relationship with IK Multimedia. Nevertheless great video Pete.

      As I was reviewing these I did think “it’s a little unclear who these are for?” IK would likely clean up with some “micro monitor lite” speakers for about $200.
