- Athens-Clarke County police say a 59-year old babysitter was arrested and charged for the death of a 15-month-old baby who was exposed to fentanyl and other opiates.

Judge a person by their appearance! What's on the inside spills out onto the face. This woman is 59 and looks like she's 159 - her demeanor, the sallow complexion, not to mention the crack and fentanyl wrinkles tell the whole truth. And nothing but.

You are so correct I had the hardest time finding someone to watch my daughter, but when I did I hit jackpot, she wasn't a relative but a church member, we still trying to find out what happened to her, 20 years later. 😭💔🙏

@@sandhanitizer15 i was referring to people who have chronic health conditions. I have been really stigmatized by my appearance. I try really hard but my teeth are bad from genetics and abuse. Neither were my fault. I provided for my beautiful family but couldn't afford dental care. I get pulled over alot by police because my car is old but legal. Im not defending this woman. I just have felt the struggle personally of not having much and still having honor and morality. Judging people solely by appearance isn't good for you or the person being judged. If I could afford to look better I would. Im clean, and fed but have old clothes. I have great people around me and amazing family. Looks can be deceiving also. Just be kind unless you have a real reason. Appearance doesn't always give the whole story.

When I saw the picture of the babysitter I had to shake my head. She looks like someone who is either a long-time drug user or someone who is a few weeks away from dying of some dread disease. In either case, I would not want her babysitting my child. In fact, I don't believe I would even want her around my child, even if there were other people there who were actually charged with taking care of that child. I don't know the story of WHY the parents chose her to babysit but whatever the story is, I don't understand.
Selective and judging are keys for survivor reasons! Don't be afraid to judge when it comes to potential life and death situations! Always do your best to make a good choice in life.

I was a victim of many episodes of bad babysitting when I was young. Parents should be charged or at least investigated if that's not a pipe dream.
Me and my four siblings were also victims of a bad babysitter back in the day. Some years later, she was finally arrested, after putting a child in a cage. She did not do that to us but she put us in a basement room, totally unattended and there were injuries requiring stitches that she did nothing about. Just waited for the parents to pick us up at the end of the day. And lunch every day was a bowl of boiled macaroni with a bottle of ketchup if we wanted to put some on. And a cup of water. Day after day after day. When we finally told our mother, years later, she said she'd always wonder why we'd turn away if she served us anything made with macaroni.
I'm glad you survived and have made it this far. I hope it was not too bad where you were traumatized. Live your best life!!🙏
