I like it Im going to get the same jeep and 33s glad the 2.5 will work the 4in starts to look funny. I love the Volt I have a 2014 loaded its a nice commuter or roadtrip car I can get over 50mpg on freeway in cruise control. I also have a Tesla thats my daily driver👍
Hey question I have a wk2 just likr yours, wheels are r20 and want to buy 33in with the stock r20. I was told its gonna hit the spindle or the uca bolt with the 33in tires. Did you put wheel spacers on yours?
Just replaced the factory shocks with bilstein. Nothing else the keep was higher in the back from factory. When I installed the new wheels, the truck sat higher 2 inches. Check out my other video
Did the tires mount in good, I just got the 2.5" lift on my '15 Grand Cherokee and it still have the stock tires on stock 20s and they look like it'll hit the UCA bolt if I go with a bigger tire
That's exactly what I thought when I installed the rims. It doesn't touch it. the uca bolt sits 1.5" to 2" above the tire. it will never touch it as the UCA moves with the tire.
@@goochfacekilla sorry to bother again, but do you know what he max tire size that I can fit with the 2.5" lift without rubbing? I know it recommended 33" diameter and 11" wide tires
Rough country leveling kits was $129 on amazon $140 for shocks only $40 for spring compressor so I could change the shocks. Did the install my self and paid $130 to have tires mounted on the rims, balanced mounted on the truck then aligned.
See about getting your computer recalibrated for the size tire it may make a difference in your gas mileage, You can also change up the gear ratio in the axles
I’m going back and forth between the wrangler and Cherokee HA, but I really like what you’ve done here, I think I may lean towards this route, how’s the highway driving?
Cool video, why don't you pull it out of the garage so we can get a better perspective.
We literally have the same wheels, Good shit looks nice man.

I just put taller 265 65 18 landspyder AT tires on my jeep and I'm planning on putting a RC 2.5 inch lift kit on it.
what kind of tires do u have on her, those look perfect!
Do you feel jeep is slower with 33s??
You need to get larger profile tires, 65, 75 for more sidewall
Trust me, I don't need anything.
Looks good man!

I did not use wheel spacers. However, depending on how aggressive the tires are they might hit the uca
Looks nice and aggressive 👌 what the size of the tire and the brand?
Which bilsteins did you use??
Did you do anything in the back?
