Yeahh sure da if you get CEG then go for it. Placements are good, staffs will be friendly. But it’s not like school you need to put more effort and learn things. Not everything will be taught to you.

Most of my friends from aero went for higher studies. So I might suggest you if you have any idea doing higher side by side start preparing for Gate or GRE or any exams that is needed.
Make this 4 years memorable, have lots of fun, attend all the intra and inter culturals and also bulid up on your skills as well!

Placements depends on how well you attend the interview, your subject knowledge and skills. Just because you joined in CEG there is no guarantee for you to get placed. There will be a lot of placements opportunities, you should use them well ✌🏻

If you are really really interested then go for it. But in my opinion choose something like Cs or It or Ece ,only if you don’t have any idea what to choose.
