In my experience, as a lady who used to “party,” it was always the dudes who didn’t do drugs (or not enough to be wasted) but loved to hang out with people who party… they are vipers, waiting for that moment that everyone is so loose, they aren’t making rational decisions. They encourage their male friends to humiliate themselves, or do dangerous pranks, and they encourage women to act against their morals and wishes. They pretend they are taking care of you, or are keeping your secrets to protect your reputation… all while telling you it is your fault for partying too hard. Danny fits that bill to a T.

It has absolutely nothing to do with thinking "well they wanted to have sex with me anyway." Not only did he SA the Janes, he took away their ability to say no and change their mind. @@kimberlyobrien4677I disagree. Aaron is passionate about this because he has been personally affected by the crap Scientology has done, and seen them destroy many, many lives. As part of his mission to protect other people from the evils of Scientology and to try to take the “church” down, he has personally covered this case from the beginning, including sitting in the courtroom listening to (almost) all of the testimony from the Jane Does. He believes them, and he is heartbroken. It was clear as day as he reported during the trial that he was sickened by what he was hearing. If he has a “vendetta” it isn’t against Danny Masterson or Ashton Kutcher per se - it’s against Scientology. He hates what Scientology has done, and how Scientology supported Danny Masterson in covering up his crimes. He’s also understandably upset at AK for being a part of Danny’s crimes and coverups, not to mention having been involved in some pretty shady stuff himself in the past (including lying on the stand in the mid 2000’s and possibly allowing a serial killer to kill again as a result). Yes, the allegations, conviction and overturning of that conviction (which is what Danny Masterson is also praying for) by Bill Cosby tainted the product, but did he intentionally taint the product?
That's probably just one of the reasons Ashton and Mila are insanely angry. Danny tainted the product. Because he's their "best bud" and more than likely has blackmail to keep them silent regarding the extent of his transgressions - and their own possible involvement in said transgressions, they can't publicly be angry at Danny and they can't sue him for lost revenue and lost opportunities. However, once the indictment comes down, I would have hoped that they would have put distance between the company and Masterson.
    2. If Netflix helped cover up misconduct on any of its productions, I hope they pay dearly.
    3. While i understand this was never about money, I still hope the victims sue. They can donate the money if they prevail, but a component of justice should be Danny, the "church" and everyone else who is liable paying as much money as the plaintiffs can get out of them.

I was never a fan of the show but for some Gen X and Gen Y it was a big deal and many people watched "the Ranch" because it was pretty much just "that 70s show".
That said one of the issues I had was I actually worked as at a feedlot for 5 years and I can tell you Danny Masterson always killed my suspension of disbelief because someone like him wouldn't make it in that line of work.
How would Fox and I assume Hulu not have streaming rights to "that 70s show" anyways?
Either way I gotta admit I am enjoying this all a bit much and really do hope it takes them all down and on the other side there is some genuine enjoyment in knowing the only one not involved was Topher Grace, a man who's entire name is a reference to a religion Hollywood hates with a fiery passion.

If Danny and Mila hadn't been such close friends and most likely KNEW (and possibly participated in) of Danny's behavior, I might have modicum of sympathy for them and their loss of potential income. However, in the end, everyone knows that Hollywood is boom and bust and there are too many moving parts to count on anything. Cast members probably thought an 8-year TV show would lead to fame, fortune and A-list status in the movie industry. It hasn't. All actors need to be grateful when the check clears the bank and they need to invest well. It only takes one minor scandal to get blackballed from the entertainment industry. Their connection to and support of Danny was not a minor scandal.i hope they invested their money well and won't have to work retail in order to make ends meet.
The only person I feel sorry for is Topher. He's the only innocent cast member in all of this. Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith should have known better and they deserve to sink as well.

The reason why I don't agree with the praying part is that I don't know who people are praying to, but he or she can't be all that powerful if people like the Jane Doe's, me and others have to go through this and treated like dirt when someone powerful enough to pray to cares more about the "free will" of predators than the "free will" of their victims. I'm tired of that excuse for this to continually be allowed and nothing done about it in the first place.
When I was younger, did I pray for these things to never happen to another person ever again? Yes, and what good did that do? It continues to happen and it turns out to be a huge waste of time to pray for even a second. Even praying daily for the victims, what does that really do? The 'you can't SA your wife/gf' mentality is definitely one aspect of the reasons why many of these people so quickly dismiss the Jane Doe's. First, they already don't want to believe them. Danny's projects make them money and he has this well crafted image they can latch onto. Then, they can shoo away any concern because it was so long ago and it was a domestic issue and some Doe's didn't immediately break up with him so they're just looking to cause trouble. These are all reasons that those working with him can latch onto to defend themselves and their dismissiveness. Yet each one of those reasons actually makes some aspect of his actions more heinous. He took advantage of the JD's trust, kept them in an abusive relationship and it took decades for anything to be definitively done about it. Then there are all the instances outside of the above paradigm, but since they're already defending Danny with the 'can't SA your wife/gf' mentality they just continue on the defense process and dismiss them out of hand or as flunkies and groupies. Even if the latter was true, it's still illegal to drug and assault a 'groupy'. These execs might also just think that they've heard, and possibly protected, way, way worse. That also might be part of the reasons why some didn't take any of this seriously.
