    I have this same Laptop and game but I can't choose an option for 4k res. How did you get this game to run in 4k on this laptop?

      You've seen it with your own eyes, I just selected it from the system settings screen. Perhaps make sure that you've manually selected the high performance gpu to run this game. Right click on the benchmark icon and select run with Nvidia GPU.

    Can you provide feedback on the screen resolution and how it fairs compared to the 1080p
    If it's worth the extra buck ?

      +mohamed shawer Well, specifically my screen is awesome (there are a few manufacturers and the quality seems to vary from panel to panel). Whether it be native 4k or 1080p upscaled, I think both the GTX 960 as well as the panel itself do a pretty superb job at reproducing good crisp images and vibrant colors. So for me at least it's worth it to spring for the 4k, plus native 4k content packs in 4X the pixel count of 1080p and it definitely shows.

      would you consider buying it ?

      +mohamed shawer well its cheaper than what Dell sold them for.

      +Qdoggus it's used so...

      +mohamed shawer yeah, even so, the GPU can only clock so far and the CPU so far can't be over clocked at all. So there is a very high likelihood that the components are all in good shape.

    Hey, does repasting the laptop results in a significant different in temperature and fan speed?

    • @Qdoggus

      results may vary of course but it offered a positive change for me. Overall, temps dropped 8°c to 10°c.

      8-10 on load right? Does the fan noise change during games before repasting and after ?

    • @Qdoggus
      @Qdoggus  8 лет назад

      +Christian Ye yes that's correct. as for the fan noise, it still gets warm, just not as much, and it takes significantly more time to get warm enough for the fans to kick into high rpm.

      +Qdoggus do you spread thr thermal paste with card or just let the heatsink spread it? Sorry for asking too many questions, i am a noob at this

      I use the six line or asterisk method and let the heatsink do the rest.
