I'm glad Marnie finally appears in one of the music videos for this era. I think it was the only thing that was missing until then. The album is wonderful, I still listen to it very often. It's truly perfect in every way. I'm so happy they came back, and I hope there are more albums to come in the future.
Just started having ketamine infusions for PTSD and depression. I have a very carefully curated playlist for my infusions. White Elephant and The Island are just amazing and result in the most spectacular visuals. Thank you Ladytron for being the perfect soundtrack to my alternative reality. ❤
hey team ket! I find anything that's got multiple vocal layers really does it for me on the infusion (but I'm on a drip for a week with 28mg/hr IV so probably a bit of a different experience)
I can't stop listening to this. For like two years now, I keep coming back to it. Someone here previously said this is a masterpiece... I couldn't agree more. The composition divine, the execution perfect, and the lyrics empowering as hell. Ladytron knocks it out of the park yet again, and I think they roped that shit out to the moon.

Damn, if you are processing some inflicted trauma this song lands hard. It's so technically delicious but the core energy behind it really hits. The you the gets back up is not always the you that got shoved down. Stronger, stranger, colder, less willing to give ground.
