The bike looks sweet and I agree in stock form it is still very much a moto bike, it's really hard to say its an offroad style bike with no wide ratio gearbox. Look at all the actual offroad bikes from Yamaha, ktm, husky, and Hondas 450x. They will all have the 18 in rear wheel, different mapping, softer suspension and a wide ratio gearbox. And in stock form the RX flames out very easily because it doesn't have the heavier flywheel or the lower first gear. Being able to lug the bike and not have to be on the clutch all the time is key in offroad. I race district 37 hare and hounds, desert scrambles and enduro's and there is no way I would use this bike for racing. If I would have bought a Honda I would've got the 450x. The RX would be a great gp bike.

Nate M very true. I’ll only get the xcf-w and exc-f from KTM because of this. It’d be pretty hard to lug this without a rekluse.

@@nepicness Yup ktm has a great offroad setup with those two bikes you listed. I bought the 2019 yz450fx and that bike you can lug pretty low and it will pick right back up especially if you setup up the maps with the mild tune that Yamaha gives you. The first gear on it is a tractor gear and second is pretty low as well. I've been loving it

      CRF450RX has 61-63 hp
      CRF450X has 44hp

@@StrykerV8 the rx does not make that much sorry. That is more then the 450r and they tune the offroad bikes down a little bit. Watch the provided link m.ruclips.net/video/Gt6MKiGFwEs/видео.html

@@Miasdaddy7 the R and the RX make the exact same peak power, it's the exact same engine. Honda claims 61, KTM claims 63, but the CRF450 makes half a hp more on the dyno than the KTM.
