yeah he is good at recovering quickly. He was playing the national anthem many years ago at the FedX Forum in Memphis for a Grizzlies game and accidentally pulled the cord out of the amp. He turned around plugged back in and never missed a single note

He's got his brass note on Beale Street. That's huge.

Southpaw strung gitfiddle. Jimi was a lefty but still used same chord shapes with a fat E at the top of the down pick. Eric's low E is at the bottom

Eric is singing and playing through his joy and his pain. And how many times have you heard someone who plays an electric guitar 🎸 insanely good but then that same player plays an acoustic guitar and they sound bland and basic. E.G. is one of the few that sounds GREAT on both electric and acoustic guitars.

Props to the talent on the stage!! Props to RUclips for a solid recc! The "yeah yeah" sample got a little redundant though. Took away from the instrumentation.

If only he could learn not to anchor his fingers to the pickguard then his technique would be lots better...lol.
You don't know what you are saying sir, Eric Gales said a thousand times that he anchors his fingers because unlike the nornal guitar players, playing upsidedown allows you to anchor your fingers because there aren't knobs, and he said thounsand times that since he was a child he had problems with his wrist and he had to learn to move only his index and thumb together and not the wrist
You cant impose your technique to a pearson who plays upsidedown because his world and technique will be always different ...so dont that anchoring his fingers is wrong for him

I fully understand about various guitar techniques as I have a B A hons mus and have taught guitar for many years. I am a session musician and have played with many famous people. I am also a lecturer. It was a joke so lighten up.
