With the dynamics whining, an eastbound passes by Skyline as it descends the east face of Mullan pass, heading towards Helena MT.

Very nice Scott! That mic is nice , though you're in a nice quiet spot as far as ambient noise. It will be great to have a choice when the 4029 arrives! I wonder if there's a bird nest still in the fence pipe there , like on our visit in 2015?

Walking the green mile, winger. The locomotives should stay around for a while, but I think there's a good chance we will see some pumpkin infestation as locos go in for service. I have heard MRL locos are not approved as lead locos for BNSF so they might not be much use elsewhere. Or BNSF could sell them and replace with something else. Best grab what you can right now!
