Behind The Brand:
Talk is cheap. Many brands' virtue signal, talk about setting the example, being a voice for good, but never follow through. Since 2012 the quiet professionals at Nine Line have put their time, money, and energy behind initiatives to set the example for our children to follow and have led from the front in the fight for the American way of life.
In the military, the term Nine Line is a distress call. It is often the difference between life and death and symbolizes the trust our servicemen and women have for one another. As a company, we aim to offer our customers a platform to spend their hard-earned money on apparel that reflects their values and give them the chance to wear their beliefs on their sleeves. As a lifestyle brand, Nine Line aims to reinvigorate a sense of patriotism and pride in our country that has eroded within our society.
At its core, Nine Line is a give-back organization, striving to give back to the military and first responder communities that fought and died for our freedoms. From first responders and military non-profits to disaster relief initiatives, Nine Line is committed to the ongoing support of charitable initiatives that better the communities they serve. Additionally, Nine Line remains committed to the notion that if we need it here, we should make it here. Since its inception, Nine Line has remained committed to these three main tenets and will encourage others to ANSWER THE CALL in their own way.

Honestly you are relieved that you are
Finally gonna be able to get out of the plane. Chances are you have been awake for almost 24 hours rigging those ‘heavy drops’ and doing pre-manifest, pre-jump, and manifest followed by drawing your chute getting it on and having your pre jump inspection complete aka JMPI. What seems interesting is actually laborious, mundane, and just another day at work for a paratrooper.
It was a rush, and then you get to jump !!!
It does. I actually woke up to something like this.
It becomes real boring, real quick. Intense the first time, But then you just want to get the hell out of the airplane afterwards. The faster you get out and derig The equipment (as long as it doesn't burn in) The faster you get home bc 99% of the time it was a really long day.
This is a portion of what my cousin did for a large majority of his career as a Marine. He did 3 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, and essentially his job was to oversee delivery of the tanks and major weaponry to the camps and troops overseas. Sounds like it's not so bad, "Oh he's just delivering stuff." No, they have a massive target on their back bc the enemies dont want those supplies to get delivered, and they also want to keep those supplies, so they go through some wild sh!+! He's lost people to his group getting bombed, and I know there were a lot of other things but he wouldn't talk about much of it. It was a lot for him to take. Unfortunately in October 2017 he took his own life. I love and miss him so much, he was a badass through and through!
Very sorry for your loss. What they go through...

In England my house was situated at the end of a RAF runway. One day I heard the weirdest sound while standing out back. The sound steadily got louder and louder. I thought what in the hell! @@harridan. I built the C5's in the 1980's. 88 passenger seats facing rearward in the aft troop deck above the cargo deck.
@@harridan. I should add that the cockpit has six beds for the extra crew to sleep. With inflight refuel they can fly indefinitely. The coffee maker cost $12k in 1988, engineered to no spill even when flying inverted. But I think if you get a C5 upside down, you have bigger problems than spilt coffee.
I was a CCATT nurse and flew in C-17s several times. They are the best for critical care transport. Even better than the C-130J.

C17's fly to Antarctica for cargo and passangers from Christchurch New Zealand to Mcmurdo Station in support of the U.S. NSF Antarctic Program. The USAF use to fly C141s for Mid Winter Air Drop at Mcmurdo and the Southpole Station by the light of the full moon in June or early July. Two sorties from Christchurch the first one dropped our mail and "freshies" amoungst 20 tons of cargo then on to the Pole for a side door drop. What a sight it was to see the plane incoming 1000 feet off the Ross ice shelf engines roaring cargo ramp open and you couldnt really see the cargo pallets but you can hear them hit the drop zone, thump, thump thump. Then the K135 tanker would refuel it on their way to the Pole.and turn around fly the 2700 miles back to N.Z and then the 2nd drop was two, or three days later. BTW the planes did not land . That wouldn't be until late August and then October until late Feb.
Great to get the resupply after no mail etc since late Feb. Those airdrops stopped in the early 90s Cost and safety were the biggest concern. Besides the airdrops and aircraft were needed more so during the Gulf War. The military support is called Operation Deep Freeze. The N.Y. Air National Guard flies Ski equipped LC -130s to the "Ice" they are long range with extra fuel tanks and are modified for high altitude because they fly to the South Pole, which sits at 9 thousand plus feet above sea level.

Back in the old days-70s and 80s at least. The USAF did not allow troop drops from the same aircraft as a heavy drop. On occasion they would allow one or two jumpers positioned behind the load in the aircraft to follow the load out. We were using primarily C130s and 141s back then.

How do you find those Humvees in the dark? How far away from each other do they come down?
This ladies and gents is what makes America great.
Das rite bro
I love to see our military in action! More please ❤
Привет. А что за тема играет?
"Guys, where's our ride going?"
Legend says he is still dancing till this day
Soldiers, emts, firemen, they all deserve to be paid way more than they do. A man that can play baseball real good makes more than the men and women keeping us alive, literally. Make it make sense
And how do in believe that money should given to them? Where will it come from
We didn't do it for the money 😉
But if you pull a car into your local oil change place too fast it's an INSTANT OSHA SAFETY VIOLATION 🙄
You service men and women are amazing.
A rare footage of an unstoppable force not meeting an immovable object
That's what the morning after felt like. Dont drink four locos
Only 4? 😉
@@enderwiggin9303 more then 2 less then 1. Zero amigo

Don't wanna fall asleep behind the wheel of one of those lol😂
Our military is the best for a reason.
@camndino the reason: trillions of tax dollars stolen for war profiteering.
