I'll miss a chan. A hard working girl is cute and a chan truly worked hard
Indeed. She did. More than she needed to but I am glad she show us how much passion she had. I am happy A Chan is helping her family and take the rest she deserves.

It speaks volumes from a person when every single person talks good about you and all these fond memories with everyone filled with stories of love and support.
For some people who don't know how important A-chan is, she's the foundation of Hololive. Without her, Hololive may not even exist. She will be missed, and her absence will be felt for years to come. I wish her and her family all the best in the future.
Forget "may", we know for a fact it wouldn't exist. She's the one who pushed the idea into Sora. Without her Yagoo will be Tanigox, a tech company CEO, Sora might be indie, and Suisei will be Suisei, but as an indie artist.
We're at a point where hololive members are long-term fans of hololive and respect all of A-chan's work behind the scenes, especially since they're in hololive now.
We'll miss this hard-working idol.

A-chan isn't just a staff member of Hololive, she's a part of what started it. She's like a sister (I'm about to say mother but she lacks assets for it) to every member and mentor to Nodoka. She might not be the Friend A anymore but she's still the Fan A for everyone.

Friend B? That won't fly. A-chan can NEVER be replaced. If anything, B-chan won't succeed A-chan in the original role, but rather *_replace_* her with none of her legacy carried on. Nodoka is more of a successor or heir, as she carries A-chan's legacy with her.
A chan, the unoffical idol of not just the fan but also the idols themselves.
We salute A-Chan for her incredible contributions to Hololive as a whole. It wouldn't be what it is today without her.

A-chan's work on Hololive was an amazing feat, she was there when Hololive was just a tiny place and saw it grow before her very eyes into the beast it is today. She will be a very hard part of the company to replace. We all saw her on streams, but that was like 1% of everything she did in Hololive.

Unfortunately, this has always been the case.
Take it from Sora herself: the business is quite volatile, so you don't know when your oshi has to leave. So, support them when you can, she says. She's seen a lot of them come and go over the years.
Hololive has been blessed in that their departures are few, comparatively speaking (knock on wood). They've really worked hard to keep things sustainable. Each one hurts, but it hurts because it mattered. It hurts because we all got the chance to know them.

In case some are unaware on the situation. Its nothing to be worried about regarding controversy or drama. Shes stepping down due to an ill family member, shes putting family first and I respect that

Yeah, I haven't seen all of Nodoka's clips discussing it, but it's her elderly parents she has to take care of. Which....doesn't sit well with me. At most, A-Chan is in her mid-twenties, her life has just begun. Why does she have to presumably put her life on hold to look after her parents?
Maybe it's because I'm a westerner and I'm expected to be more independent. Just a part of me thinks it's not fair to A-Chan.

@@YourTypicalMental I did halted a part of my life to take care of my mother, unfortunately she passed away. Life is fleeting and every moment counts. So A-chan taking care of her elderly parents is really understandable for me. We will never know what will happen in the future.

A chan retired
A chan is retiring. From rumors/speculation its due to having to take care of family
TLDR she took a long break since April to help out with family health issues. Unfortunately, it didn't work out and best decided to step down from Holo to primarily focus her family despite the fact she did not want to leave.
We exactly dont know what's happening behind the scenes but all we can do is respect her wishes and leave her with a smile.
@@ThatJuanDude314 Not rumors: she directly mentions said reason on her retirement message, especially since the reason she took a 3-month break (which she also announced previously) was because of family.
Achan's been gone since April due to family member health reason. She and everyone else at COVER was hopeful her family health issues would be resolved by July, unfortunately things didn't improve and she chose to step down and focus on family.

It genuinely feels like an end of an era. Even more than Coco's graduation I feel like. I mean, A-chan has been there from hololive's conception with Sora. Wishing her all the best.

3 months ago she had to take a break to look after some “family health issues”. Then a couple days ago she announced her decision to retire because it was highly unlikely she’d be able to work and take care of her family at the same time.
