They used galangal, finger roots, coriander roots, garlic, shallots, shrimp paste, tamarind juice, palm sugar in the sauce with fish. They are used a lot in Thai cooking (learn from Hot Thai Kitchen) Sorry I don’t know the green leaves.

Why the egg? The fish was confirmed alive and conscious. The egg was probably not even fertilized. The fish felt the knife cutting into it. The egg is pretty much just nutrients in a shell without fertilization.

I mean im a fisherman sometimes we bad hook a fish (not often) and sometimes I catch and cook fish through the grace of God. But this here is beyond torture and by that I mean having the fish alive in captivity like this is so wrong.
