Underrated track! Lots of fun. It’s cool to look at how Bruce’s songs about love and relationships got progressively more mature over his career, ultimately leading up to Tunnel of Love!
@@BruceGuitar It’s totally the most underrated. It followed BITUSA, so there was a ton of expectations for it. Instead of giving in to what people wanted, he made a downbeat-synth album that was more personal than any of his other stuff. It hits hard, especially if you’ve been in the same spot that he was in when he made it.
@@blakeleesutton Yep for sure. I think There’s not much in it as well between Tunnel of Love, Darkness and BTR ! My favourite always changes between these 3
@@BruceGuitar Besides being a great player, your also an incredible engineer and producer!!!! Your video made me go back and listen to Born to Run today.
@@GaryBook Ah thanks for the kind words. Luckily their are lots of preset buttons etc on logic so cheating a little haha. Logic these days is 100 times better than when I used it at school! Still a lot to learn!

Yep totally agree Blakelee. Tunnel Of Love I would say is the most underrated album. She's The One is great live as well :)

@@BruceGuitar I’d agree, they’re the three best.

It is always wonderful to get a song from Born to Run!!! Excellent effect on the amp unless your using a pedal.
Thanks Gary as always. I’m just going straight into my MAC and using plugins in Logic Pro X :)

Nice! Great lesson. Question: what pickups are you using in your tele? Thanks!
Hi 44scoots. Glad you enjoyed the video! I'm using the JBL Gatton T Style Pickups (I think that Bruce now uses these)
