Mr. Brent , I'm now 72 years old. My knees were both bone on bone sage 4 , for the last 10 yrs I walked around just like you. Oct. 2023 my right knee was fully replaced. On Jan. 2024 my left knee was replaced. Yes you will have some down time , but that depends on your will to move on. I was driving two days after each procedure. I was able to shovel snow and change a flat tire by myself 3 weeks after my right knee replacement. My right knee is now 95% better. And I'm doing therapy for the left knee. Do not suffer any longer. You have good help at the dairy and with a pair of walking chains you can continue working and being useful.
I am six years older than you Brent, my brother had one knee replaced. I have a friend who has had both replaced. It is finding the time . God bless you both. I am thinking of you. Alastair from Hampshire Uk.
Brent ,,,I know many people who have had both knees replaced and all 100 percent of them were really glad they had that done ,,,it gives them back their lives ,,the shots are only temporary and have added expense to the problem,,go get one done ,,then wait a short and have the other done ,,,you will be a glorious warrior after the new knees ,,after all ,,if anyone deserves a new life it is you.
Hey lady ! Do you know your area library may have repair books on line for your skidster! And ,if im correct thier is ajustment screw/ bolts for thoses control arms. Watch diesle creek! He has a video on how to adjust and fix a bobcat that has the same controls as your machine! Watch him and yoi can learn how to fix it!
⚠️Seat Belts Save Lives⚠️, Especially in old trucks with poor stopping and distracted drivers around you on the road. In New Hampshire everything is 30-60 minute drive away. "Big logs!!" Those logs started life before cars, planes, before WW I. Please farm Safe 💚🐮👍
Impact wrenches are handy for taking things apart. Don't get lazy with it by using it for putting things back together though- real mechanics don't assemble things with an impact because one can't tell if fasteners are being over or under tightened.
Hi Taylor. If and when Brent gets his knees operated on he should know that his farm is in good hands with you as his partner. After I am done watching this video I am going to go and get a chocolate covered donut. Keep smiling, keep farming, stay positive, and May God keep you and Brent safe. 🐄🚜😉
70 yr old retired carpenter here walking the same as bret the fact he's still going tells a story ... he has no quit in him.... god bless him tell him Hemp vana rollon gives temporary relief..
Tell Brent to look up Whole Body Collagen, my left knee was bone on bone, after taking 1 scoop of collagen mixed in a glass of milk each morning my left knee is much better. You could see improvement in a few weeks.
You should clean skid machine more often, bad news it can catch on fire,I know hours in day on dairy, but machine are so important in farming as you know the skid steer save your back from shove ,take care .
Fun video Taylor! Nice tools! Not sure if I'm more jealous of the tools or the donut!? But now we know your weakness: Chocolate covered Boston cream donuts! You are now reaping the benefits of RUclips persistence and entertainment--gifts in the mail! Really great!!
I was a little mad at you Brent and Taylor for not wearing your seal belts as a former truck driver that’s the first thing I would do when sitting on the seat. You would hate to kiss the windshield. Be safe always.
11:38 Hey Taylor @TayFarms have you ever asked them to let you drive the loader and load up the truck? Im sure you'd LOVE that! And we'd love to see it!
I love your channel!! 😊 My father-in-law has a ranch just to the south of Childress, TX. He also uses Neiko tools, and Tekton too. Uses and abuses them That socket set sure is a nice one. I also think you will be much happier with the DeWalt impact wrench, than a Bauer at Harbor Freight. If you do get stuff at Harbor Freight, their Bauer brand visegrips are really nice and their Pittsburgh Professional sockets are really Tekton tool sockets, but with different stampings 😊😊
Hello Taylor. I really enjoy your road trips. You are the central Maine donut Queen. I know you don't have time for joy rides but I would love to see some footage of near by dairy farms. Sad to hear about Bret's knees. No idea how he accomplishes all the things he does with bone on bone. I know the pain. Had both mine replaced 13 years ago and they are still great. Now a days the surgery is much less invasive. They even use plastic parts when they can. If that is his case and he only has one done first and the second one done down the road, maybe his down time won't be that long. Be Safe, Keep farming.....
Good morning Tay you are awesome, a jane of all trades. Glad you got new tools very nice. I work on my own equipment and use examine gloves when I’m into a greasy mess. Brent looks like he’s lost weight. If he’s going to have knee surgery wouldn’t it be better to do it in the winter? Love your show, and praying you have the farm for a long time. 👍👏🙏🐄
Did he say “ pile of dewy” 😂. A girl that loves doughnuts, coffee and new tools is a girl after my heart!❤️ 😂 I feel your pain Brent, my knees are the same. Doc told me a knee replace is in my future but I’m holding out as long as possible.
He most certainly did 😂. Who could resist great doughnuts and shiny tools!😉 Sorry to hear that your knees are bad as well! I hope everything goes wonderfully should you ever decide to have them done!
😊Hi Tay. My wife has knee bone on bone issues as well. Her doctor gives her gell shots when necessary and they really help her. Hope this info helps. Problem with jell shots however is they are not durable for one who works. Someone else here recommended one knee at a time. Not sure you would be able to work using this method.
Hi! That’s good information to know thank you. I’ll definitely pass this on to Brent. I think your right probably he’d be out less time if he had them done at the same time. I know doctors don’t like to do that but I guess if you insist then they will. Anyway thanks so much for watching 🩷
Taylor. It is ALWAYS such a pleasure to watch your videos Brent and you work together like a well oiled machine The Moo Moo Mamas really love you and Brent respects you He is a very lucky man to have you helping around the farm. Keep up the great work but please work safely😊
Taylor very glad you did not get hurt from the bungee. The tools look excellent, and you guys can really use them on the farm. Hope you guys stay safe and healthy.
Good morning Taylor, This video remains me of the time I used the handle of a pipe wrench to break some ice off the windshield on my truck, of course I broke the windshield 😢 . Thanks for another awesome video.
Family Dairy farms are almost a thing of the past. Where I in Northwestern PA when I was a kid, there were dairy farms everywhere, now there are only a few left. Hay, hydraulic fluid and hot engine is a good recipe for a fire
That is a great gift,DeWalt is a very good product and they are expensive but I think they are worth it as always you have done an excellent job with this video . Thank you!
I watch Brent on top of the sawdust load waiting for him to fall off. You couldn't rely on 911to get you out of that. Taylor,if he won't get the surgery, persuade him to let you climb up there. Yankees are stubborn about medical things and more.
Hi Tay, great video. It’s always something wearing out or breaking down on a farm.🤦♂️ You will love the impact gun i was going to get you one but someone beat me to it. Mine is always in my pickup with me. Good luck with the skid steer. 🤗
Hi, thank you! It sure is a battle sometimes to keep equipment up, but it’s always fun to work on something new! That’s a great idea to keep it in your truck. Always with ya! Thanks SO much and I hope you have a great evening😊
Awesome video again Taylor thanks, the new tools will come in very handy when you are doing the planter. Great how you get excited about the new tools, hope you get the skid steer sorted as Brent uses it alot Think 🤔 you really like donuts 🍩 😅, your face was a picture thanks again take care and stay safe 👍 😊.
My wife (78) had both shoulder, both hips and both knees done over the last 5 years. The knees are the hardest to rehab but vshe had 90% movement in 2 weeks and is pain free. She did her PT exercises and did great
Nice Gift!! That's Great!!Why do you have to pump up the tailgate handle? That's like pumping a cows tail to get milk !🤣Love your videos, although I didn't get to watch the last one! I'm retired, now I don't have time! I got smacked it the lip by the end of a bungy cord! The more hay you take out, the more it will leak! it's organic stop leak!🤣
I would love to live there Taylor. It's a beautiful looking part of the country you and Brent are so fortunate and lucky to have such a great place to live. All the best for the future and as always best wishes from all of us in Ireland 😅. Patrick Brazil.

Taylor is lucky too.
You folks work hard!
One of the funnest jobs ive had was running a front end loader for a ready mix company when i was 20 years old . Absolutely loved it
Wow I’m glad to see you got the cordless impact

😂 exactly!
Brent, hint hint: "Dunkin Doughnuts!" she exclaimed.

Donuts are a mood changer!
Get your knees done. He will feel better. I just had both hips done in August of last year. I feel great walking so good and no pain.
Taylor so glad you didn't get hurt when you fell.
Thank you, I am too! ☺️ I need to work on my gracefulness
