I love your video's, your content has kept me entertained during our covid lock down. If you search for 2 or 4 way stretch vinyl, you will find it conforms to curves better. Keep up the good work, thanks to you i have a bike frame stripped waiting for paint.
I bought the wrong vinyl. Tried to stretch it like you can do but it lost the fabric underneath. I will try it again with different vinyl in the future.
Good job Martin for first try at it. A couple of tricks when upholstering is to use the old cover as a template, then you aren't trying to trim excess of as you cover. Also with vinyl you can warm it slightly with a hair dryer to make it a bit more pliable to go around contours and then when it cools it gives you a smooth finish.
Good job Martin! But, if you make some tiny cuts around the perimeter of the fabric; then you can avoid getting it bunched in tighter spaces. This way you won't get any creases in the fabric, like the ones at the nose of the saddle.
Martin, could you please do a tutorial for custom mountain bike fork lowers? A custom painted bike needs custom painted lowers and all the videos I've found from everyone else are..... sketchy to say it nicely.
Thank you for sharing something new with us. You've sparked my curiosity in creating my own custom saddles now. Also I would love to see a big ETOE logo on that saddle.
Hope you’re feeling better man! Really appreciate your time and effort on sharing your knowledge. I do have a question and I am trying my luck on whether I could have an answer here. I was wondering how do bicycle companies do those fine torque indications? Is it by water slide decals or some kind of printing method that big companies uses?
Just spray-painted my alluminium bike frame. I had used a alluminium primer and 2 different colors but when removing the bike decals it also had peeled of some of the paint on the first layer (and some with a gap also the second layer). Do you have any tips to prevent this????

Not this one. The fabric got lost when warming it too much. It's the wrong vinyl for that purpose.

Most are tampon printed.
Please tell me the music you use for this video. Please respond.
Karma: Brave by ETOE, but professional upholster might feature this in reaction video ;-)

Don`t be a lazy dude and start to sand inbetween the layers.
