As if they weren't similar enough to Metallica already, their bassist went and died.
But yeah RIP to Mike. The album following his death, Five Serpents' Teeth from 2011, featured a song in tribute to him: In Memoriam. It opens with a pure bassline that he wrote, no other instrument playing. Chills.
That was the song that I discovered Evile with, the very first one of theirs I heard. It's also my mother's personal favourite, so holds a special place for us both, since I introduced it to her and now Evile is her favourite metal band.

80's riffs perfect vocals no overused harmonics i think my ears are in love
Still one of my favourite no-frills mixes in metal. Snare and guitar tone in the intro are still unmatched 14 years later. Everything crisp and punchy as hell. Flemming Rasmussen absolutely killed the production.
Seriously, Eviles debut album is still my go to on how a thrash production should sound

These lyrics are awesome, like a mix of "Into the Pit" by Testament and "Bonded by Blood" by Exodus. Not to mention the speed and solo of this song. This song kicks ass.

Yeah, the intro riff. Rhythm is kinda weird, you have to really be concentrated to play it that fast and not to fuck it up. Then it goes "full auto" so you just have to keep up with the tempo. Well nothing hard for a thrash metal guy xD

I bought a group of thrash, death and black metal cds from someone online. Most of the black/death metal cds were trash and I will be taking them all to the pawn shop. I never heard of these guys and thought they were just another trash death metal band but they are actually a decent thrash band. This cd is a keeper.

Crazy Psycho I agree, however Thrasher is a great song to mosh, that's why I think it is so popular. When I saw them live a few weeks ago and they played Thrasher, all hell broke loose in the pit and it wasjust a lot of fun to mosh to that song. Maybe that's why it's so popular. Even though I have to say the lyrics are a bit uninspired and generic, but the vibe of the song is just a lot of fun overall :)
