- Lakers Nation is waiting around for Lakers News to drop for an upgrade to the roster. Lakers have yet to do anything, but a Lakers Trade is coming. What type of trade is it depends on how things shape up, but Lakers will at least to a consolidation trade.

What’s with all the trade news??!?! Just literally dropping every name under the sun. This is getting super redundant and absolutely worthless.
I personally don’t see a trade that takes us over the top. I believe what it boils down to is what type of system is JJ going to run. And how and if he can get players to buy in and maximize their potential. Nothing wrong with the roster we have. The last two years with ham the system was trash. Unless we getting a curry or Kd type player anything less isn’t really going to move the needle

remove jhs, wood, reddish, dlo, vando and rui then replace them with finneysmith, jeremy grant, kessler, spencer dinwidie and trent jr and let one roster spot open
@@christianguliman8385 jazz center was starting then coming off the bench and back n fourth with that. His impact can’t really have true value on a bum team. Grant is cool. He’s contract isn’t the best for his age. And then homie from the nets is another one who did ok on under achieving teams. To make these trades and possible have the same result is point less. Again it was bad coaching. Miss using players. Those three don’t not put us at the top four when OKC, wolves, nuggets , Mavs, are all better. And id put the kings above us right now two. All we’ve been doing is turning the roster over and over and nothing. All the teams that have been better than us the last couple years haven’t had this much roster movement. This style and build doesn’t work.

If we could wait for trades like other teams, then why are you posting trades every day? We can't stay patient or stay the course, we did that already at the trade deadline and last offseason nothing. We see his pattern, and we call BS. Either make something happen or don't, but don't lie and say that you are saving all the picks for this offseason and he hasn't done anything.

I’ve been patient since last off-season and this past trade deadline where we didn't do anything, our team hasn’t made any trades in over 1.5 yrs. What am I supposed to be, a sycophant to Tyler? I appreciate his content and simply said that we’ve been patient long enough and can’t wait to get a center b/c we need to take the regular season seriously. Sprinting at the end of the season, hasn't helped get to the NBA finals, we burn out before then while others teams have been resting their starters. Teams don’t want to help us so we need to help ourselves by getting players that are available now for the start of the season. We’ve lost TP and have no real starting or back up center for AD, that’s a problem. Tyler said that we have the luxury of being patient and that just isn’t true, you feel me or not?

Why are you posting that trades are coming? It seems you want people to believe a trade is imminent. That’s BS. We don’t have a birthright to compete for a title every year. We can be a .500 team for a few years while we develop players.

We dont know what the deal initially was with WAS, I think thats assuming that the deal got better by waiting, also the best FA's have come off the board. No Roster space due to Rib giving below average players power with the Player Options. Our only option at this point is a trade for sure. Also, Rob split up the championship team for little reason directly after winning, he simply got greedy. Rob's record is shaky at best. Giving up a 1st for Schroeder, than letting him walk for nothing, Caruso walk for nothing, little return for THT, got nothing for Mcgee & Gasol, didn't resign Keef after the finals run, he clases names over fit, i.e. Trezz over better fits, DJ over Hartenstein, Ariza over Jeff Green etc. He chases names rather than choosing guys that actually fit the coaches visión. Also has a poor relationship with other GM's leading to us getting fleeced. Need a change, lets see if Jeanie can do what she needs to do.
