fun fact: they didn't just try to "emulate" the eurovision lighting and setting. the actual set up of tel aviv 2019 was rebuilt in london for filming of the contest scenes, and then actual shots of the audience from tel aviv were incorporated.

Hi. Last Saturday I'm going into the recording studio to record this song. I'm not going to correct a perfect original, but I'll try to hear my soul in it. I hope that I will meet this extremely difficult challenge, especially as I plan not to "correct" the vocal as it was in the film. Keep fingers crossed

Also, it's not eligible for an Oscar bc it has not appeared on the big screen. As of right now a movie has to play in Los Angeles for at least a week for so many showings to be eligible. If Corona keeps up the rules may change. That being said, I'm quite certain it'll be up for some emmys,

The Greatest Showman was the worst movie I have seen in 5 years... It SUCKED! My wife thinks the same. Fire Saga was the best movie of 2020, exactly what a hurting world needed! Much better story and movie that The Greatest Showman!
Rachel McAdams did not sing this song. She lip sync it all. Yeah, unfortunately ESC 2020 never happened due to the pandemic, so we will never know how it would compare to an actual winner.
