Bucharest Christmas Market 2023 in the Heart of Romania's Capital City | Christmas Time in Bucharest

Bucharest Christmas Market 2023 is located in Constitutiei Square right in the heart of Bucharest, in front of the Palace of Parliament. The fair is open every day between November 30th - December 26th. Visitors can find traditional handicrafts, Christmas decorations, baked goods, pies, cured meats, hot mulled wine and more. The Ferris wheel, from where you can admire the capital city from above, a giant Christmas tree, carousels, the festive chalets and a lot of Christmas lights are set to delight the visitors and bring the joy of the Christmas time. Santa’s Cottage, decorated and hand-painted to depict the magical world of Santa, invites the children to express in words, drawings and letters their wishes, in the presence of the elves. The children can attend creative workshops where they can make their own decorations and ornaments. Santa Clause will also arrive at the cottage to meet the children, to listen to them, tell them stories and put the gifts under the tree. Bucharest is the capital city of Romania, the largest city in the country and the 6th largest city in the European Union by population. It is the most important economic, administrative and cultural centre of Romania. It lies in the middle of the Romanian Plain, on the banks of Dâmbovița River, a small northern tributary of the Danube. With its elegant buildings with French inspired architecture and its locals studying in France's capital, greeting or even speaking each other in French or wearing the latest fashion creations from Paris, Bucharest had a French bohemian atmosphere at the beginning of the 20th century.
