Very impressed with what I saw in the first game. Coaching was spot on, shots were open and falling early. Going to be interesting who they keep around from this squad... Gueye, Stephens, Simpson seemed to pop... Not so much with Bryce. Nick played good generally, was even hot out the gate, 4-17 though >< Leaky was a net negative and we won by 30+
Coach Lee has those guys hustling. Also if you looked at hornets bunch and spurs bench the spurs weren’t talking to each other hardly at all. Hornets were more like a unit.
Love the energy from him. Our guys went out there and gave it their all. The toughness on the defensive side is a drastic improvement.
Only 7 turnovers in a summer league game. That's good coaching.
Gueye was on it tonight! Whole team was locking in on defense too which was great to see
Who in the heck was that team in purple and teal?
😂
"its not just summer league" What an incredible mindset! Coach Lee gonna bring us to the promise land!
Great win Coach Lee and the rest of the Hornets Summer League team
That game showed how good of a coach he is. A lot to love
For context: Mouhamadou Gueye who balled out tonight was Hornets #39 pick in the 2023 Draft but was traded immediately to the Hawks.
The energy hes coming with for the organization is just refreshing
GOAT
COTY next yr. Charlotte 48-34
I pray dawwg I just want melo in the playoffs (the hornets)
God I’d love to see that. In the east that could put us at a 6seed
