See 23-Year-Old Help Scared Elderly Man Down Escalator

- A photo of a young man helping an 83-year-old down an escalator is warming hearts across the country. The elderly man was frozen with fear as he stood atop an escalator at the Holyoke Mall in Holyoke, Mass. That's when 23-year-old Alonzo Johnson stepped in, locking arms with the senior citizen and helping him down the escalator. The older man was terrified to get on because of a previous frightening experience he once had on an escalator, according to Johnson. #InsideEdition
What’s crazy is that helping someone is now seen as abnormal
Sad but true !
It's the times when it's not normal to love but hate. Ignore and no compassion
N B I agree. I personally love seeing good things on the news in general.
N B That’s true. I was behind a woman at a restaurant. She was paying and forgot her credit card. I paid her bill. It was under $10. She wanted to pay me back but I told her just to help someone else. It’s what we need in this world today.
You know they literally posted this because he’s black and the older man is white 🤦🏻♀️ I see this at times and I’ve done this myself because I’m a nursing assistant at an assisted living. 🙄 if it were a white 23 year old no one would bat an eye lol
His mom raised him right, they both deserved much respect.
Yes!!!
His parents raised him to have his photo taken acting!

@Child friendly comments No I didn't, someone may have also commented it, but I didn't copy anyone. I just think that's how it should be, we shouldn't expect other people to be kind like the young man featured in the video, we, ourselves should try to be more like him as much as we can!
But still Yes
Everyone talked that "We need people like him", instead we should talk "We need to be like him".

@@kevinsaviro2708 yes because he's young and helped an old man on the escalator. Yes, we know there is a stereotype of young people being selfish and only interested in themselves, well this helps debunk the myth.
