Hats off to US Police and justice system for taking this case very seriously and providing justice. There are so many cases like this which has happened in the middle east where people from India, Srilanka, Pakistan are tortured and killed but the government there hasn’t taken any action
The Indian owned businesses like Grocery chains, gas stations, restaurants, motels and similar, must be closely scrutinized by the Immigration and IRS. They employ students, illegal immigrants that are NOT authorized to work at below minimum wages. Besides these businesses do a lot of cash transactions that are unreported as can be seen from their rich life style, home ownership. Isn't there a guideline for IRS to assess some one's sudden rise in wealth from barely minimal in sync with their business income. Also these businesses should be spot raided by ICE for hiring undocumented and unauthorized workers and fined heavily like UK does.
This is very true. I personally know some people who are employed at slave wages paid in cash . These employees have come to USA willingly via donkey routes and have enormous debt to repay

This happens in USA. There is similar situation in Dubai with Shejadi who came from India to Dubai. People who sponsor her put wrong case against her and Dubai court give death punishment and date is after 21 of sept.

Same happened with my own brother by my aunt. 4 yrs force labor 17 hrs work every day, mental n physical abuse, 1time a day food n same food everyday..check store dustbin k did he eat anything from the store.. if he eat anything he throw trash behind the store big trash bin so my uncle dont catch him that he is eating frim the store. Thay change his date of birth so he can work in gas station and able to sale cigarettes and bear. My all mother sode of family know whats going on but they didnt help my brother or didnt bother to let my mother know. He stays there 4 years and then run away. He didnt come out from the trauma for long period of time. At that time there's no internet so we dont know about our rights. Nothing happened to aunt uncle they are living happily with his son😢. My brother is okey now its been 24 year now but my brother still talk about it... please know your rights even if you are not legal still you have a rights here. Dont scared k they ll arrest you cause of your status . No they dont infact they will help you when they know that you got abuse in their country.. make a note n take picture if any abuse happened later all your notes pictures any kinda proof helps. Its very sad😢
At the doctor office I met an old gujrati lady about 80 years of age and she is partially blind in one eye and she was bitterly crying 😭 and I was so sorry for her I talk to her and she told me she felt better. Even I am American I still understand what she go through cause I am from Indian family I know their mentality .

One of my maternal uncle's sons was treated the same way by his own nephew in UAE, my cousin was pressurized by his siblings to sign a document stating reason therein that he is returning to Pakistan on his own free will and the people who called him to UAE through an agency agreement have nothing to do with that. My cousin had given all his savings to his nephew therefore when he returned to Pakistan he had no resources to survive on. His health was badly affected and he got paralyzed. He had a legal way to file a case against his nephew but that piece of paper he signed due to the family pressure took away even that right from him. The world is cruel especially the close ones.
