I really enjoy your commentary while watching. You're able to add a lot more analysis than when actively playing. It's also interesting to get to see different play styles and explore the evolving meta.
    Thanks for your great content!

Honestly if you started casting some of the matches, I wouldn't mind. More commentary is always welcome. And if it can improve your play style, even better.

People kinda misunderstands Mo n Krill because his character design is buffy, so they usually play around doing a full tank build or focusing on harass or to remove someone who is alone in the map. And also, the second ability, the burrow, is his best ability, at level 2, it gets +140 DPS, and at level 3, it gets +3m/s speed, combining it with things such as Fleet Foot or Sprint Boots, you can constantly move around the map to be useful in every situation.
but from what I've seen people playing him, there is two builds, the one you're just a starter and focusing on removing the DPS of their team, like Haze or Seven, which focuses on items to burst and to move fast, such as the Majestic Leap (which you can just go from one lane to the other if you know how to use it), Warp Stone or Phantom Strike.
And there is the build where you tank by not focusing on tanking items, which is the main build I do because you can 1v6 almost every game if you know when to go into the fight and when to leave. Basically the build focuses on Cooldown and Spirit Lifesteal, usually my build has these items:
    Weapon:
    - Fleetfoot (faster movement)
    - Warp Stone (an item to engage and disengage whenever you have to)
    - Soul Shredder Bullets (it gives spirit amp, which means your Scorn (1st ability) will deal more damage and will heal even more)
    Vitality:
    - Spirit Lifesteal (will make your Scorn and Burrow extremely strong, your Scorn will heal 2.23x the damage you deal, and your Burrow will heal almost as much as Scorn if you hit a lot of enemies)
    - Sprint Boots/Enduring Speed (i mostly have this only until mid game when I need to gank and help others, while being the one to start a fight)
    - Leech (This will increase your spirit lifesteal by 35%, with Spirit Lifesteal (item), your Scorn can easily heal you for over 80% health, there has been a game where I was tanking 1v6, holding it so my team could revive, and I was able to go into the enemy, harass them with my burrow and then just heal my entire HP with Scorn and leave with Warp Stone, or even sometimes Burrow again because of the lower CD at level 3)
    Spirit:
    - Mystic Vulnerability (less enemy spirit resist = more spirit damage = more heal with scorn and spirit lifesteal)
    - Improved Cooldown (I usually put this one on the burrow, because I like to constantly go into the fight and leave, so I have a lower CDR on it for me to tank and reposition myself, and also to just chase someone cuz Fleetfoot + Enduring Speed + Burrow level 3 is just FAST, a total of +9m/s with everything activated)
In general, with those items, I can tank, resist damage, reposition myself in any situation and even deal damage to any character that didn't spend any gold on any item that gives resistance. And if the game staggers and we go into the "farm until we have big end fighting", or there is a different situation on the game, I buy these items (in no order, build it for the situation):
    Weapon:
    - Spiritual Overflow (if you need to deal damage, you can stack some spirit power so then you can just finish someone)
    - Escalating Resistance (if you're against a team with a lot of weapon focused characters, like haze and wraith, this one is good to being able to tank against them, +2% bullet resist per shot through 20s, to a total of +40%, before the fight starts, it's pretty common to just spam some attacks)
    Vitality:
    - Colossus (if you just need to tank, thats the best option, instead of Divine's Kevlar, since Divine's Kevlar only give you Shield, instead of Resistance, if the enemy team deals a lot of damage really fast, it's is almost useless, and Colossus give you 40% spirit and bullet resist, while also giving +600 HP (which is almost as much as Divine's Kevlar shields), and you can even slow enemy movement and dash, so it is easier to just chase them)
    - Phantom Strike (i usually only buy it if there is someone who moves extremely fast or is annoying to catch, like Haze, Pocket and Infernus, so I can just teleport to them and ult on them, so my team will have enough time to come close to me and kill them fast)
    - Unstoppable (people sleep on this item, yeah its stats isn't that good neither it's effect gives you damage, resistance or anything else, but you won't be able to deal damage, neither heal, neither use your abilities if you're silenced, disarmed, stunned etc. Right? So if the enemy team has a LOT of CC, I usually buy it so I can just use my ult to remove someone and harass them when it is needed.)
    - Majestic Leap (this item is AWESOME, it's one of the best items for any character in the game that is a fight starter, if you know how to use it, you can jump over buildings, you can move through an entire lane, you can go from lane the left side lane to the middle right lane in seconds, and also, you can just surprise any enemy by just dropping above them because almost no one look to the sky in this game haha)
    Spirit:
    - Escalating Exposure (it gives you +6% spirit amp every 0.7 sec, your ultimate, at level 3, has a 3.75 sec duration, which means this item will proc 5 times, which is +30% spirit amp for 15 sec against that enemy, so it's +30% more Scorn heal, +30% more Burrow damage)
    - Torment Pulse (this one is my favorite item when i'm playing solo, it helps you with early to mid game damage, it helps to proc Escalating Exposure every 1.5sec, it has a consistent damage, and since it will proc while you're on your burrow, you can just stack some Escalating Exposure on someone and then leave the burrow to deal a lot of damage)
    - Mystic Reverb (+Spirit Lifesteal, with Leech and Spirit Lifesteal (vitality item), it's 73% spirit lifesteal, and if you imbue your Burrow, it will deal around 700 damage and will heal you even more than Scorn, while also giving enemy slow)
    - Echo Shard (I don't usually think of buying it, but if you need to heal a LOT because the enemy team deals a LOT of damage, and the problem isn't the crowd control, debuffs, stuns, slows etc, and just that they melt you REALLY fast when they get you, being able to use two scorns in 1 second is kinda funny, it's basically full heal two times in a second haha)
I usually never buy armor with Mo n Krill because I don't feel like he is good to TANK, he is good to Harass and remove someone from a fight, and building around his weapon doesn't help much, since your fire rate is bad, the range is bad, and your skills remove your ability to shoot, so most of the time you will want to just SPAM your abilities.
IMPORTANT: Those are items that I usually build around, not that I focus on them, i didn't consider early game/lane phase items.

He can stomp lanes, farms extremely fast (torment pulse and max 2nd spell), when you outfarm you can just go some purple items for 2nd spell dps, phantom strike and weave, and you basically solo kill anyone on the map, especially haze players. Im not sure whether this kind of gameplay works in high mmr lobbies. Look up taanti build in game, with few adjustments to your preferences its the best i think, at least to carry games solo

I think the reason why divine kevlar isn't super great is because the main reason you purchase it is defensive and inherently not proactive so it doesn't help you get more ahead. Phantom strike gives you engage, does give you great defensive stats, but it gives you insane gap close for the time of the game (if you rush it like this guy) which helps you catapult your lead.

Is Valve doing any story elements with this? Such a fascinating world design...like what even is that 'core'?!
Wouldn't say no to more commentary style vids 🙌🏼

Yeah there's some hidden lore in the game, but nothing external yet. Essentially old time New york, magic exists/etc. Characters chat alot when you're playing.

Yoshi, one of the devs on Discord. dropped some random lore a couple of weeks ago as well:
"a random lore thing is that airplanes aren't a thing in this world, they use airships instead powered by wind spirits (zephyrs)"
"US has 52 states, 51st is Puerto Rico which gained statehood after one of the gates to outer planes was discovered there. The 52nd is South Ixia (outer plane of Ixia where Infernus' parents immigrated from)"
