    You're right, ATRAC does work pretty nicely... Not to hammer you, but ATRAC only functions in 4 low so unfortunately it wasn't benefitting you at all in 4 high. Enjoyed your video.

    I did this in my Tacoma TRD Pro 265/75R16 Toyo M/T’s in 4 low aired down to 20 psi it’s a really fun trail didn’t need my rear locker or ATrac. Good tire placement helps a lot.

    I go out to Moab every summer but due to some tight squeezes, I haven't tried poison spider. I have a 2013 Raptor and she has a wide ass. No doubt she would make it, just don't want to scrape her all up. Yet...

      Your rig made it just fine. I wonder how much of a difference the new Toyota TRD Pro would have been with the electric assist for the lack of front lockers? I can tell you that Rubicons do make those trails easy. Enjoyed the video, and I really like that roof top tent!

    • @WW-wf8tu
      @WW-wf8tu 4 года назад

      @@Kiafoulis1 TRD walks stuff like this as if you're on level pavement. On stock tires. ;) TRD's can and have done the Rubicon trails as well. It all comes down to lines, spotting and tires. Heck on the Rubicon I seen people redesigning the landscape for jeepers as they went along. What kind of challenge is that? A whole squad of spotter and rock movers. Pathetic.

    i'm going to ask what might look like a dumb question; but it's purely because I don't know the answer.
    do you have to drive back-tracking to the start point or are these trails like 'loops' that bring you back to the start to get off the trail?

    • @mikksup

Already have 4 skid plates, rock sliders, winch, roof rack, snorkel. Why bother w the Pro? Like this I can choose my own accessories/mods and their timing, as well as not paying long term interest on them (they’re overpriced already)...
