Ustadh has provided with some extra guidelines, books and resources; here is a compiled guide:
    Rules To Follow:
    1. Don’t Share Your Temperament
Keep your temperament private as it is a very personal matter and the knowledge can be misused. Focus on self-improvement rather than external validation or judgment. Only share to maybe very close friends and family.
    2. Don’t Ask Anyone Their Temperament
Other people’s temperament should not be your business and avoid reducing or boxing them into a specific category. Everyone has all four in them anyway.
    3. Don’t Use Your Temperament as an Excuse for Bad Behavior
Temperament explains tendencies, and does not nustify actions-take responsibility for your behavior and hold yourself to a higher standard.
    Books & Resources:
•The Temperament God Gave You by Art Bennett and Laraine Bennett - A guide to understanding temperaments for better relationships and self-growth.
    • The Golden Key to Discovering Yourself by M. Salim Khan - A deep dive into temperaments and personal development.
    • Avicenna on the Four Temperaments by Laleh Bakhtiar - Avicenna’s classic insights into temperament theory.
    • Avicenna’s Medicine by Mones Abu-Asab, Hakima Amri, and Marc S. Micozzi - A modern take on Avicenna’s Canon of Medicine for integrative healthcare.
    • Medicine of the Prophet ﷺ by Jalal ud-din As-Suyuti - Prophetic health practices and remedies.
    • Abu Zayd Al-Balkhi’s Sustenance of the Soul by Mālik Badrī - An early Islamic work on mental and emotional well-being.

42:47 You couldnt have described it in a more better way. Its all black and white thinking, Ive reached the point where its overpowered me. I loved how this brother mentioned that those kind of temperaments need to be more in touch with feelings, I'd like to say compassion, mercy for oneselves as well and being in line with the limits of our body and nafs. The whole point is this life is marathon not a run. To stay steadfast and have the will power and energy to do our best we must not go too ahead. This kind of thinking I found pulls you in to a never end cycle of overthinking. No feelings or recogniziton of the limitations as humans. Alhamdullah everything is a learning experience.

    - To Note:
    33:03 47:53 52:43 55:22
    - Take away: Look at and reflect upon oneself, it is a responsibility.
Hold yourself to a higher standard than you do others.
Look into the 4 temperaments and on how to achieve a balance between them, the prophet (saw) is prime example of this.

I first went to his KY series earlier this year and honestly it opened my eyes to a lot of things and helped me understand myself better. What I initially thought was my temperament completely changed by the end of day 2! I would highly recommend his classes, he has many including knowing yourself, vitality refined and fortifying the self. Vitality refined was a transformative 6 week class based on 6 lifestyle factors and how adjusting those will allow us to balance our lives. Fortifying the self takes you through Prophetic duas/sayings to read morning and evening, taking you through the meaning and helping you connect it through your heart too. Would definitely recommend. I've only just started seeking knowledge but I'm already reaping the rewards. My skin is slowly clearing up, I'm more active and these classes have helped me in so many ways.

Brilliant advice for a Steep Learning Curve to know thyself ( Jesus pbuh also said Know Thyself , the Temple of God is within ) Introspection is very relevant , rationally, spiritually , morally and ethically for the whole of humanity. Even Buddhists say : He who knows others is Wise, He who knows himself is Enlightened . It is a Universal concept to Know Oneself first , it's a part of Self love / Self Acceptance. Yes most people are in their lower ego ( lower 3 chakras: survival , sex and security). The Prophet advised us to be in our Heart Space ( 4th chakra: Anahata). All religious and spiritual traditions say to navigate from the Heart. Our Ancient scholars all studied Sanskrit , Greek mythology , Judaism , Christianity etc to learn the valuable teachings that resonate with Islam and left out what does not benefit our highest good. Thank you. ✅🫶❤️

I love the traditional clothing but I don't recognise it. It doesn't look Indian/Pakistani, I haven't seen Afghanis wear shawls this way. Yemenis love shawls but this is not yemeni style either. Anyone knows?

Javanese pattern and fabric (re: lurik style) from Indonesia, but kimono-esque tailored from Japan.

@@ahmadqashidi5580 I see, interesting. Thank you for explaining. I guess he is wearing mixed style. The red hat, shawl and inner clothing are probably all from different traditions. It makes him talking about 'know yourself' even better.

Why do such uplifting, and "breath of fresh air" type videos make me start to hate the West? It's a "pattern" now.

The temperaments are the 4 elements in the zodiac signs

Elements are a teaching tool used in many sciences or references but that does not mean there will necessarily be a correlation. In this case no there is none.
