Omg Not Every Manhole lid is a sewer line ! Electrical ductbanks and telephone ducts run into manholes. There, splices can be made and ducts can run in different directions from manholes. Steam lines , water mains all intersect into manholes, Valves and meters are in manholes. There’s a whole lot more than a manhole lid in the road than sewer lines. Smh
Man holes need to glow at night or visible in the day if not it can be open or a device detects that is open. Lots of motorcycles. In the morning light colored not visible at a distance. Do we have hole open detectors or alerts.
