    It took some patience to layer those potatoes. Another good call on the recipe tweaks. It does look amazing! And, one can never use too much butter!

    That is a fabulous recipe. You did a great job on tweaking the recipe. You are correct when the difference back in the earlier days. People didn't use the internet. Now it is much easier. Thank you for using my favorite gaget in the kitchen. I love my Breville food processor. That is a must in my kitchen.😊

    Amy you need to find a copy of the 1950s era Encyclopedia of Cookery. You’d be blown away by the knowledge available to people like my mother who cooked for a family of 7
