I hate how I explained my opinion with the K VS G and global concept mnet is pushing so I’m here to hopefully explain it 😻
IZ*ONE and KEP1ER’s and the future boys planet team’s lineups aren’t horrible, like at all. The members get the things they need done and they get them done decently well. However when the show and program promote it as this “global” show and debut group and as a show that’s “bringing people from all corners of the world to join hands because of k pop” yet only for the final team to have 3 non Koreans it’s kinda BS. Again the debut lineups are usually really good but not in the context of the show. I truly wouldn’t care if the lineup was made up of idk 7k and 2G if the show was just another normal survival show, or if it the “Global debut team” wasn’t the main driving point. Ik it’s kinda double sided coming from a literal Hanbin stan but this is how I felt during girls planet era I was so distraught ok🤧🤧🤧🤧, anyways episode recap will be added to this comment later, Keita and Hanbin will debut at #1 it’ll actually be tie trust I saw it in a dream. Ok rant over LOVE YALL🩷🩷🩷

I understand the point you are trying to make about a global line-up as marketed, but our global votes in total have been given "equal" weight to the total Korean votes for each and every contestant; thus, though seemingly unfair it is akin to the US presidential election where it is not the popular vote that counts, but because it gives a more equal weight to voters' votes in smaller demographic states (aka Korea) than states with disproportionately larger populations (aka the rest of the world) it is actually more democratic (Korean vs. Global votes). However, on the individual scale I wish BP didn't feel like a popularity contest and being downvoted based on looks, height. You could be apparent LBGTQ? without any hate, but heaven forbid you're under 5' 7" and don't look like a model. You could be invisible in every team challenge performance due to so-so stage performance, but you look good and you're friends with the cool kids, so we are giving you our vote. It's almost cringe to invision how bland Bep1er may end up.
@@deborahmcinnis1959 OOOOH THAT MAKES MORE SENSE but I feel like this IMO is more reason why they should drop the G, K thing so more people are less upset and confused on the voting split/ final lineup ratio.
i do have a bit of a confusion, since there are only two final groups, the group who wins in the final round debuts? or its going to be individual rankings ?

i'm still in shock that haruto dropped so much, like not only did he not make it to finals, but he wasn't even a candidate for 18th oml... i actually thought haruto had a chance of debuting (not necessarily a high chance but one nonetheless)... i'll miss him and woonggi in particular. also my one pick is ricky

SERIOUSLY THOUGH I was confident he would make it to the finals and if he didn’t I was confident he would’ve at least been close to but 22 when he was previously 16 is crazy to me

Haruto was my pick and the fact that he didn't make it is insane. I can't believe that there are so little non Koreans on the show, like I knew it would happen but I wasn't ready. I'm also worried for Jay and I sadly won't stan if Jay, Matthew or Park Hanbin don't make it in. My solo picks are Matthew and Jay because I can't really decide between the two of them, but I'm also rooting for Park Hanbin.
OMG we literally have similar picks. I'm glad park hanbin's rank rose but I'm so worried for Jay (he's my 1 pick) and even Matthew. I was planning to vote for Jay and Haruto but he somehow got eliminated😢 despite working soooo hard in EVERY SINGLE MISSION.

ik your name is literally seokmattchu but please consider making Jay your one pick. i feel like splitting votes isn't really effective, you're just helping two people a little when you can be helping one A LOT. i've been voting jiwoong, matt, & jay but since i think there's a higher likelihood the other two will debut i'm putting all of my votes into Jay. i honeslty think this group NEEDS his talent.
Haruto is my second pick in last voting too. I won't mind if Phanbin or Matthew debut but I'm so worried for Jay. He's even dropped from 12 to 13 while having benefits and being pushed out to main vocal to sub vocal 6... I don't think he will get enough screen time in the final. So pls vote for Jay. He only has one pick power to count on.
The fact that Jay is 4th internationally but 18th in Korea, shows how we have such different views and standards. The same goes for Keita who is 1 internationally but 17th in Korea. It's like Korea focuses a lot on visual more, not saying Hanbin is just a visual coz I see that he has talent, it's just a shame that Jay may not debut with them despite being INSANELY POPULAR AROUND THE REST OF THE WORLD.

For me this feels like a flawed statement. Talented trainees such as Taerae and Seung-eon receive much higher votings from Korean voters(top 2 and 7) in comparison to the low rankings(11 and 16) from global votes despite how talented they are. I think that international viewers tend to favor talented international trainees and Korean voters just tend to favor talented Korean trainees, I don’t think it’s about visuals at this point of the show tbh since all the weak trainees have been weeded out. Maybe pre-show or during the beginning of the season’s runtime, but definitely not now.

@@irisselene2325 sorry if I’m wasn’t clear but in no way am I discountingJay and Keita’s talents. I’m just stating that both Korean and international voters value an equal amount of talented trainees, just different ones. Also, Yujin is ranked quite high for international votes(7th) as well and I think it’s quite distasteful to discount gyuvin’s talents. He can choreograph his own dances and is one of the best dancers on the show, but has unfortunately become a punching bag to prove other trainees’ worth.
Jay is my solo pick and he was done dirty in todays episode I feel so bad for him…

heavy on kuan jui. he was literally one of the best dancers on the show with personality and variety show potential and defo stood out for his ast/background of being a traditional dancer, literally the definition of global
ricky is my solo pick ever since I saw him, I think he possess a lot of talent and charisma so seeing him being on the edge of debuting kinda scares me. same with gunwook, he's my fav k contestant, it would be a BIG shame if he doesn't debut. kamden deserved better, he has so much hidden talent so I got relieved he got into the final. good luck to everyone, keep voting and don't switch solo picks cause no one's safe

HOW DARE everyone let Haruto down like that😭😤 I was SO SURE that Haruto would make it. The absolute shock and devastation that hit me when I realized he wasn’t even a CONTENDER for 18th place is just😔😔 & Chen kuan jui my bby😢 he worked so hard but was already aware of the unfair/unjust screentime and treatment ;( ugh so many global trainee got eliminated & it makes me so sad. I voted for g trainees a majority of the time & I feel like all my votes were wasted bc at the end of the day knetz get to decide the majority of everything. Like Jay’s ratio of k to g votes is literally absurd. And how is Zhang Hao, arguably the most popular global trainee, placing only 6th in Korean ranks. Even my fav k trainees like gunwook is dropping in rank. This is the first time I honestly don’t know if I could stan the debut group. Even if my 1 pick Zhang Hao makes it, I still wouldn’t know if I could stan bc of how skewed everything is.

5:30 YES. I never understood why this concept was in place. What's the point of "Korean" and "foreign" if the main goal is to appeal to audiences worldwide? A global group should mean a group that appeals globally, not just a group containing foreign trainees. The whole G/K thing just places the idea in the audience's mind that they have to vote for their own.
Also, THAT 50/50 VOTE THING IS RIDICULOUS. For the exact same reasons listed above.
UGHHH , if they wanted to create they should look at XG, they’re the true definition of GOLBAL group, singing in English and know Korean and Japanese and this is what bepler 2.0 lacks. They don’t have the concept of what a global group really means .
It's so blatant too. The uniforms and color scheme is a constant reminder. Fantasy Boys is not following this route at all so far. Though the show just started I hope they don't do this too
@@w.s.p.y9756 I think we are the ones misunderstanding 😕It is a show by Koreans for Koreans, after all, and they are selling THEM on the idea that this group will become global superstars, not that this will be a group made up of idols from around the globe. We could almost predict this in the beginning: one from China, one from Japan, one native-English speaker... and as many of them ethnically Korean as possible.

they should just remove the K-G system (the disparity is inherently there anyway there's no need to make it into a thing). if not, just don't even cast foreign trainees to the show. if all you're gonna do is to exploit foreign trainees to gain international attention..

Cos a lot of groups release English and Japanese versions of their songs (like BTS, Itzy, etc). If Bep1er 2.0 had all k trainees but released songs in different languages would they be truly global? I feel like G-group fans wouldn't like that

im aware the debut team is doomed. we are screwed. first of all Kamden is my number 1 but how did he survive over wang zi hao? he's the true dark horse of bp. second Haruto was ROBBED. I can’t help but shake the feeling that Mnet deliberately did something to keep Zihao right at 19th. They have consistently not cared about his presence and it just really strikes me as odd that someone with such obvious attention (based off fan cam views) wasn’t higher. Ik views don’t equate to votes but it is still very odd
please don't think like that about Kamden. he's actually has a pretty solid fanbase, both korean and global. it's just they are much quiter so that's why. my picks are Zihao, Haruto, Jay and Kamden too but let's just understand that this is survival show.
@@seulgaebaerene Oh, don’t get me wrong, I’m surprised but pleased Kamden made it. “Rush Hour” (Jay x Kamden) was my favorite initial performance and it made me love Jay and keep my focus on Kamden and now after “Switch”, I was content with him making it to the finale, but yeah, I just feel like Zihao might have got played a little, either way, the Top 18 deserve to be there

Actually i feel like Kamden is one of the few trainee that is really Good in one category which is rap and has a bright future and would be able to give decent rap lyrics to their songs along with Keita.

Fr.... he and Seunghwan's performances and potential debut were the reason I got into boys planet despite never watching a survival show before. I'm genuinely so heartbroken now😭
Are you kidding me? ....Mnet wants to create a global group but the final lineup only has 6 global out of 18 trainees.They being: Jay, Keita, Zhang Hao, Matthew, Kandem and Ricky BUT in reality its only 4 global trainees (because matthew and kandem are still ethnically Korean even though they were born and raised outside of Korea).
If they keep this up the final group will consist of 7K+2G trainees, because let's be realistic the knetz will prioritize the K trainees.
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT QUESTION FOR THE PEOPLE WHO VOTE! Do you realize that the final group will have to compete against Stray Kids, TXT, Ateez, Treasure, NCT's groups, The Boyz, Enhypen, Itzy, IVE, Le Serrafim, New Jeans, Gidle, Aespa and the new 5th gen groups coming from HYBE, SM, JYP, YG, etc.
If the Top 9 stays the same as it is now....I'm really sorry but they have no chance to stand out in the competition or industry and will probably suffer the same fate as Kepler.
And if you haven't figured all this out by now in the final moments of the competition, then you're dumb.
And explain to me why and how Haruto, Wang Zihao, Seunghwan and Woongki were eliminated when they have more talent and personality than certain people in the top 9???? Y'ALL SUCK AT VOTING FR
Keep in mind that even international voters may have a bias who is Korean. It's not just the Korean voters pushing them out; it is also insufficient global votes. Sorry but when it came to 1 pick 3 pick I had to vote strategic and that did not include global contestants.

This is already past the limits, it's not only about nationalities, we are talking about talent and preparation to debut now. I have to remind you that people like Yujin and Gyuvin are in the top 9 while much more talented Korean trainees like Hui, yoo seongeon, gunwook are outside the top 10. Its okay if your bias is korean (and of course you can vote for them) but at the same time its not okay to vote for people who are not ready to debut and need a lot (and I really mean a LOT) of preparation to debut.
honestly im just happy that jeonghyeon survived, as all i wanted was my boy to get through this elimination. im also very surprised that haruto got eliminated, as he was working his ass of during supercharger

I voted Jay, Haruto, and seungeon, for 2 weeks straight. What happens? Jay goes down and Haruto not even close. The votes don’t matter. I’m truly and utterly over it now, idc about the show,lineup, all of it. I won’t watch the finale either and just wait an hour after when everyone spoils anyways
The thing that sucks the most is how much we’re seeing history repeat itself again and again. People don’t care for talent, for personality, and then complain when the group be lacking. To think we could have a new, unique group that could attack the market right now instead of when people are ready to change years and years on, but with the current top 9, against groups like TXT, ATEEZ, Stray Kids, and NCT(to name a few) I don’t see them standing out much

I'm dropping this, I'm not even bothered watching the last episode. I'm still in shock that Wang Zihao and Haruto got eliminated. If anyone has updates on these 2 boys, please let me know. I honestly feel like some of the boys that did pass don't deserve it. If only they gave them more screen time.
Haruto recently posted a really sweet letter on the Wakeone Twitter account, from it I sadly can’t tell if he’s gonna continue being an idol HOWEVER there’s hope because he did say he hopes we wait for his comeback!!!! Wang Zi Hao I haven’t seen anything yet sadly

Honestly, the hate Jongwoo is getting on twitter from just EXISTING and making it into the final is so fucking disgusting. I KNOW how much it hurts when your fave is eliminated, some of my faves were also e-worded, but going after other trainees because "they stole" your first pick's spot is just BEYOND DISGUSTING. I was genuinely so upset over Jay, Taerae, and Matthew’s ranks dropping as much as they did. I get taerae and matthew are still in or close to debut range, but they’ve got the most potential and talent and I find it absolutely ridiculous to rank them so low.
As for Jay, after last week I thought maybe we were gonna comeback with the votes to push him up a bit more, but somehow gyuvin entered the equation out of literally nowhere and basically threw off the entire board.
I wish they would’ve just gotten real judges to critique and ACTUALLY place these boys at certain ranks because allowing fans to pick when all they’re been doing is pushing for visuals is such a bad tactic and will only end badly for the group if they completely leave this top 9 as is.

I don't think the xiaoting/yurina situation will happen with shanbin just because he's korean. I've been voting for ichan, haruto and matthew since the beginning and adopted wumuti later on as well, I felt sad that ichan was eliminated and I'm still salty to this day about wumuti being eliminated. it also really shocked me that matthew dropped so much ☹️ I was really scared for haruto this elimination since he was rank 16 previously and the fact that he wasn't even a candidate for rank 18 was a shock. I checked his ranking in the app after the episode and he dropped as much as 6 places all the way back to 22😮💨 I cried for ichan but boy oh boy I didn't expect myself to cry that much because of haruto's elimination. haruto said that he doesn't know what to do with his future and that made me cry even more... Over me? Well I’m over it is the current mood atm, you really drove it home with the g to k ratio bit. If your gonna make a global group ACT LIKE IT like this show was so mismanaged compared to other seasons it’s actually hard to watch. I’m truly confident in saying this is the worst produce season to date, in editing, stages, and overall vibes, like in pds2 you could feel the love between the trainees on and off stage, the joke episodes were fun because we had those people to make it so lively, and some stages are still mentioned to this day, for example: open up or shape of you
But here, I’ve never seen editing so malicious on such a constant scale, I’ve never had to ask, where this trainee? The vibes are all off between them especially now, and whenever shuaibo was on screen it felt like they were avoiding him or just straight quiet, it felt like he was just waiting to get eliminated and getting rid of the entire supercharger team, it’s gonna be so quiet now. And having junhyeon as the pretty much only joke trainee is still taken with a grain of salt, at least for me and when comparing the stages to previous seasons, I don’t think any of the artist songs will be talked about after this.
It’s just an all around mess I can’t stand behind anymore
My last hope is that we go full throttle controversy and make zhanghao the only g trainee, I can see that news headline as clear as day😂 really sell that global group idea.

This is controversial, but I still can't understand how Yujin is consistently ranking so high. Everyone always *hates* on companies when they debut young idols, but fans voting for him are helping to do *exactly* that. I love him, but I can't bring myself to vote for him. I'd rather him debut in a couple more years when he's more grown.

But seriously, regardless of how rigged the editing is, or knetz not voting for G trainees, and saying that the new group will be "doomed," let's focus on voting for our favorites and consistently promoting them. Accept the fact that we can't ask for a Korean-produced show not to prioritize the Korean fan base. I feel like even if they're trying to create a global group, the priority is and would still be Koreans because it's KPop after all.
For those who were eliminated (Haruto and WoongKi are two of my faves) and who will be eliminated come finals, let's wish them well and support them on their journey. All trainees have put in hard work in joining BP. Let's make sure they feel loved and supported regardless of the outcome, and let's still support the debut group cause these trainees have been through so much.

@@rogery.1005 Greed may be very tricky cause our G boys are competing in a korean-produced show, so let's accept the fact that they're already at a disadvantage.
So yeah, you're absolutely right. For G-star creators, push for only global trainees cause expect that K-star creators would vote for their own. That way, the 50/50 percentage would balance out and G-trainees would also be prioritized. The evil edit most likely works on K-voters, and we already know better, so G-voters should really focus on just global trainees.
I think this is the lesson for both GP999 and BP.

I can't shake the feeling that Mnet has an arrangement with Yuehua. Because HOW ON EARTH is it that 4 out of 9 Top Nine are all in YueHua. That's highly suspicious. Especially given the fact that Gyuvin & Yujin are not close to being the most talented trainees in the show.
Even if taerae is up there I have to say top 9 be looking stale and dry af. Losing haruto is the biggest L of future bepler since losing wumuti, and so many good trainees that could give flavor for the final line up got eliminated like seunghwan, Woongi, wangzihao and Chen Quan rui. So if I have to make do with what we have right now it truly is desperate times cause I think only two trainees could somehow save bepler which is kum junhyeon and park hanbin both never had stepped on the top 9 even once, so it really feels fuck all, everyone needs to snap out of it

Im probably Toxic but I know this group will be a group with middle tier talent. Like they will look good as a group but not indivisually. Other then Yujin with Dance and Keita with Rap. No one really excels in any category. Like Sure they have a decent voice but thats it. Sure they can rap of beat but they have no soul with they rap. Nowadays high notes are common but there is no one to hit them. (Other then Hui and Jay but who knows if they will debut. I understand that they can learn and it takes time but they are on a contract. Their learning time could have been used for someone else who is ready. Again maybe im just Mad cause Wang zi hao and Lee Seunghwan were eliminated. (these are just my opinions.
i would like to add taerae is good with his vocals if jay or hui and him ideally all three together that would be belper vocal line set. I know it probs wont happen but i deffo think we need another rapper in the group cant just have keita someone like gunwook or jeonhyeon otherwise im probs not gonna like this group
It would've been perfect with Jay, Taerae, Hui and maybe even Seungeon being the strong vocal line then Keita and Haruto in the rap line. Then Wang Zihao being the main dancer and Haruto is also great at dancing if you've seen him on LOUD. Park Hanbin is a hardworking leader who has a great personality, he gets on well with basically everyone.

Haruto getting eliminated is so hurtful that i'm in tears. This boy literally worked his ass off every episode and even stayed strong after his supercharger teammates were eliminated. If mnet showed his rank dropping last episode or idk whichever episode they showed it, i'm sure lots of people would have voted for him. He's such a great all-rounder and would've been a great asset to the group
Another elimination that SHOCKED me was Zihao like this man is really popular with high views on his videos. Even with little to no screentime and msnake cutting his choreo making parts, he still shined in the eyes of the people. I thought that his popularity (especially for his dancing) would save him but HE DROPPED 😭
Jay, Zihao and Haruto got my votes everytime but this elimination has left my mind and body crippled like i can't even function properly now. Now i'm really scared for Jay too :(

I actually think to make it fair with this K vs G concept, they need to make an even numbered debut group. For example the final lineup consists of 10 trainees, half of them are the Top 5 of K and the other half is the Top 5 of G. It’s just dumb for MNET to recruit global trainees ( **cough** Eastern countries outside Korea btw **cough** ) just to evil edit them and use them for drama and ratings while giving 90% screentime to the same Korean trainees.
In my opinion bepler will be Kepler 2.0, like 6K+3G or 7K+2G

Zihaos rank has just been going up and he’s gaining more and more fans, even Korean fans, and right when one pick and the place where he has the biggest chance of winning, his rank stops increasing and he gets eliminated + Mnet hides his rank for a day - that’s why lots of people on twt think they sabotaged his ranking
Mnet also released zihao getting his coffee truck, when they specifically said that eliminated trainees will NOT be getting the benefits… some things just don’t add up
