Came here hoping to hear about the taste. The last couple bags of AG1 I’ve gotten have tasted extra bad. I’m trying the Huel bc it’s half the cost when factoring in shipping (if you hit the minimum for free shipping), and it seems like it’s much better than 50% as good in terms of nutrition. If it also is easier to drink, then I’ll stick with Huel
Probiotics is a big reason I would stick with AG1. I used to spend $40 a month on pro/prebiotics alone so to me that was half the cost absorbed into using AG1 to replace just that one supplement. Guess I’m not switching brands just yet.
I am not qualified to answer if this is 100 percent safe for children or not. But, from my perspective, products like these are full of nutrition and quality ingredients and I am happy to give my kids something so full of nutrition. That being said, Huel uses a few ingredients that I wish they chose something better. I may consider other options for kids as I guess I get a little more specific when it comes to them. I give my kids Ka'Chava ALL THE TIME. For years. They love it and it also has healthy macros and fiber which most kids need. If you want a green drink, AG1 is a great option. I am close to putting a review out for YourBiology Supergreens which I very much enjoy. The taste is nothing crazy. Sort of like a light minty water. If you think your child would enjoy that taste it is another very good option. Hope that helps! Thank you so much for checking in! I really appreciate that. Right now I am feeling pretty good. I do not believe the surgery helped at all and the surgeon said that as well. After the surgery, I did not feel well at all and my heart was doing crazy stuff. While I waited for a referral to the next doctor, I decided to try some stuff on my own (major diet change and regular exercise) and I am feeling much better. Still waiting on that referral to talk to them and see what they think. Still have episodes, specially if I fall off my diet, but as long as I keep my diet inline with what is working, I feel pretty good! Thanks again!
@@Learnwithtravis I am glad you are getting a second opinion with a different doctor. I would also let them know the surgery did no good. I don’t know why that is their default go-to solution. I hope you can get it figured out. Take care.
@@GuruChaz Agree. Really wish they would have considered looking into my health and trying other things first. I will share everything with the next doc! Thanks again!
Another one you may want to consider - ruclips.net/video/yQAanOSHNoM/видео.html The first two tubs were exactly as I desribed. The third one has a little more of an earthy taste so I am hoping it goes back to the minty flavor with the next one. But outside of that concern, it is the one I am sticking with right now.
I don't mind Huel meal supplements and I take them for the protein, but stay away from the green blends, Huel or Athlethic Greens. Sure, the list of different beneficial ingredients is impressive, but it's only traces of each and they won't have an impact. Example: I take 600mg of Aswhwagandha daily, Huel Daily Greens has Ashwagandha as part of a group of over a dozen ingredients and all of those add up to only 173mg (Organic Adaptogen and Super Mushroom Complex). Ginseng is also part of this group, which can be dosed to up to 2000mg per day. You can do this exercise with probably most of the other ingredients as well, check what a good daily intake is and compare it to the weight it is in Huel Super Greens. The biggest weight is actually made up of the group Plant-Based Protein and Super Food Blend with Tapioca Starch as first ingredients. Ever looked up the health benefits of Tapioca Starch? Basically none. So your potentially heaviest ingredient in this powder is just a filler!
Good info. I did not realize how much filler they used so thank you for pointing that out. I have mixed thoughts on amount of ingredients. I completely get that you are no where near max dose to maximize the benefits of that specific ingredient. At the same times, you are hopefully getting smaller amounts of numerous ingredients and collectively, I hope that have a combined positive impact. Probably depends on your goals.
@@Everythingtotteham I have not come across one that I think is great. So unfortunately you might have to mix your own blend, take dedicated supplement based on what you think you might need (which is quite a lot of work...)
But AG1 has so little of the ingredients it's basically useless. There is this thing called minimum effective dose. There are RUclips videos about this.
@@happyhappylol1 Sorry, not cosigning. I was commenting that Fiber is a major factor in choosing health drinks for me these days. I should have been more careful with my wording.
You have no idea which is better. Both don't state how much greens are in there. They could just use 99% broccoli... you should review products that will actually say what's in there.

Yeah, the fact that it can easily replace multiple other expensive supplements is really nice.
Huel Greens has probiotics too lol
@@Learnwithtravisexcept that the dosage is way too low to he useful.
Hey brother I watch your videos when it comes to superfood drinks. I just recently came across Glaxon super greens. Could you do a ag1 vs Glaxon?
Thanks for watching! Have not tested that one but will look into it!
Have you ever tried rawr food? I tried it for a few months felt great 👍
Have not tried that one yet. Will add it to the list of things to investigate!
Great info
Thank you!
Are any of these safe for children ? I have a 6 year whos very sports intensive and was thinking of giving either of these a try? Any advice ?

I have invested in both, Huel and AG1.… Huel tastes disgusting but is cheaper ( about £30.00 cheaper ) so I will try and keep going with Huel

So which one should I buy lol
I think both are solid options and I can’t remember the price off the top of my head, but I would lean towards AG1 a little bit.

Do you get kickbacks from these products?
Huel or AG1? No, nothing.
AG1 is NSF tested and third party tested. Huel is not...at the least they couldnt say how they are tested when I asked on IG.
Good to know!
But AG1 has so little of the ingredients it's basically useless. There is this thing called minimum effective dose. There are RUclips videos about this.
Also AG greens has a lot more Fibre and protein per serving, whereas in Huel they are almost non existent
Good point. That is a major factor for me these days.
It does not, huel as more of both more per serving and disappointing to see the author of the video cosign this
@@happyhappylol1 talking about Huel daily greens. Moreover from the matching vitamins huel has much less concentration per serving
@@sten40too1 AG1 = 2g protein and fiber huel = 3g protein and 3.5g fiber per serving
