I got my tamarind sauce recipe from Chris right here on caribbeanpot. Check the archives. I got tired of going to Trini / & island restaurants here in New York where they serve watered down sauces & condiments. Now it tastes much better too!
I don't know to much history behind the African Caribbean foods . But i know test you took out the two tomato and mayonnaise . The two allergenic foods .
