@@lawgiver5599 the yam bonus just effects unit speed making them 15% faster and the deer stones landmark makes it effect all units including villagers. So it’s a good idea to have outposts at your base to make the villagers move fast. It’s also good to have them along your trade line so that the traders move faster to the market
@@mouzgeilpapx yeah i am planning on doing. I beat a french picker with it the other day. Drowned out his resources so he couldn’t make knights. It’s only vs intermediate ai because the game doesn’t remember your last setting. I had been beating hardest ai with it during testing
Its nice I just searched mongol rush I found your video then tested 2 bots (HARD HARDEST) beat them in matter of minutes then I tested 1v1 with friend and won thanks to you :D I am gonna learn this one too ofc :D

I love this build, good video as always 😁. The opponents are becoming predictable with outposts, no matter how much they tries to counter, mongols will have upper hand early 👍

You know that overlay casters/pros seem to use to show opponent elo/rank etc? The maker has now added a build order feature to it so you can have build order show on your screen while you play :) Have to write it out yourself or paste it from somewhere though.
and what do you wrecken would be a good counter to this besides the "make your own towers." arguement? and least amount of lost food from villager rushing them. walling at about 2 minutes wouldnt be very good and strain your resources. I mean the TC out ranges most of the stuff. maybe try to ignore or keep what you can and send an army to their base and or tower rush trade?? although it wouldnt be as effective since you can pack up and move your TC. hmmm maybe a combonation of these things along with a fast age 2 and blacksmith melee ram rush... I feel like this type of strategy is not very intended since the Persian douche route in AoE2 was in this game as well and has been removed. I'm sure they will do something about the towers as well. It just seems a tad bit ridiculous imho
The big thing, as the opponent, is to make sure you can build your landmark which will have to be near the Town center so that it can protect the villagers and maybe range the tower builders. Otherwise, yes your own outposts to stop the enemy coming further in to the base would be the best bet. If you can halt it in it’s tracks you should win as the mongol player will be very late up to feudal. The mongol player is sacrificing a lot with this strategy in terms of eco so it’s a high risk strat
Annoying as shit and none of the early units do enough siege damage to stop someone doing this shit kill one tower sacrificing all my units meanwhile they already have 3 more towers put up then going up against multiple people doing this? At least change the cost to make a tower, two guys making 10 towers before even getting to feudal? sounds fair
Should have checked this one before playing today lol. To enlight everyone on how this fella followed it (I was playing with HRE): (1) He tower rushs me, (2) I manage to get rid of first tower so it didn't escalate from there (no more towers), but lost many more vils than what I'm proud to admit (3) Now I half-wall my base (because I still have issues with building walls on this game.... somehow my vills will decide that is not worth building the whole thing....I mean.. it's almost end of year, I'm also tired so, I won't blame them) (4) I launch a (late) counter-attack with M@a since I had a fairly good eco (had a pond nearby so, able to get a lot of food from fish and also a nice spot for the Chapel). (5) Since there was a big hole in my wall, he doesn't have much trouble with popping a few mangudais in my base and denying my wood. (6) My counter attack is actually doing some damage (not really lad) as can destroy all military production buildings nearby the Oovo (7) He comes back to his base with the Mangu (#Mobility) and also adds a few melee units to destroy my ram and put an end to the only thing in the game I can be proud of... :( (8) Now he is approaching back my base, which is now fully walled (with a bunch of chopsticks): those won't be an issue for his M@a (9) I "bravely" defend with more M@a trying to get that Moth...%$#*£%$ Khan from his white Disney-like steed, but he has mobility so.. can micro a little bit (not that u need to do much to defeat me on the micro battle...) (10) Ok, I think I can hold this with many M@A with the HRE unique upgrades, but I need some time to re-group. Not today lad: suddenly he comes with 4!!! trebs and parks them in the middle of my town like.. "c'mon dude.. I have more videos to edit, time to surrender" (11) My last chance is to get a conversion with the prelate that I had sent north to get the relic... he is coming back, hoping that Morley is not paying attention to his M@A army.... when suddenly I see the Prelate (or rather myself) forgot to grab the relic. C'mon man! you've got one job! (12) gg. Could have I won this one should I've been better at walling? probably not, that first tower did a lot of damage already I think and kind of diverted me from my no-plan for the game, so I'd say even though the tower rush did not progress beyond the first tower, it was still effective. Nice one!
You’ll also find build orders from Grubby and Fitzbro are against intermediate AI. It’s easier for recording, especially for someone who isn’t a top 1-5% because sometimes stuff happens and you forget to make a villager or you accidentally send one to the wrong place. If look carefully you will see that the first minute of the video is actually quick match gameplay vs a player called aimbot who was the french
Your opponent is an AI and it shows. They can't make up there mind what to do and can't focus things down. Try that against a human player that knows what there doing and how to adapt.
