Thanks. Your video really made it easy. Replaced both the driver's side and passenger's side on my son's car. Boy, are kids hard on their cars. I had two different manufactures. Depo and Polyway. The Depo was a better product and fit better.

Nice vid, but the one step I was looking for was to how to remove the mirror itself from the housing. I'm guessing yours was missing and is why you are replacing the whole thing. If not, please let me know how you did it.
Hey saidas108 - yeah, I pretty much destroyed my entire housing and shattered the mirror inside as well. So in my case replacing the whole thing was necessary. I'm not sure if just the mirror/glass can be removed/replaced from the housing - sorry.
Derflaggenhooven - where did you order your mirror from? They must have a choice of mirrors that match the factory paint right? Or do they need to be painted to match?

I asked them to replace it and they said it would cost over $400. I bought one on ebay for $40 and fixed it myself. Thanks for the great video.

Does anyone here know if the 2007 Scion TC mirror looks pretty much like the 2005 in this video? I know I have 2 wires inside the case (one for the signal, one for the mirror glass). So, I was just wondering if replacing it myself would be as easy as it looks in this video. I feel temped to try. Dealership labor is $119. Thanks!
@EMILITO06 - The replacement has the turn signal as well. When you connect the electrical wire harness between the door and mirror, you're effectively connecting the power to adjust the mirror, as well as to enable the turn signal.
My. drivers mirror light stopped working i didn't know you had to buy the complete mirror assembly if your blinker stops working..I bought the light by itself cost me 40dollars...WhichI couldn't figure out how to open the dam thing ...I bought a complete mirror assembly on Ebay for 50 dollars and super easy to install..Thanks for the video
+Keef C My trunk is stuck. The hatch is broken in the back and I can't open it. People say their is an emergency button or you can stick a flat head in some part in the middle enclosing in the back. But doesn't work. You have any suggestions? Thnx

Thanks so much for this! A pigeon committed suicide at 85 mph, exploding both himself and my mirror! Almost a $500 fix at the dealership! I'm about to pick up my exact match mirror at the local wrecking place for $50 and install myself with your auspicious help. :)

Sorry Christie, I'm not sure of the answer to that. It may be less trouble to replace the full mirror housing. Wish I could be more help.
